hi there i recently bought the safe cig.(RN 4081) I know everyone hates this thing. I actually love everything about it except the battery life. What is the longest lasting battery that still looks like an analog. I would be willing to get an adapter for one? What is the kr808d like? How about the new pitbull from smoke stik. anyone used one of these? anyone know the difference between smoke stiks products? Hendu , royale, jet, premium. especially concerning battery life? thanks

Having not actually used every battery type out there, I can't give you a definite answer. I will say that since analog sized batteries are all about the same size, that they will probably all give you about the same amount of vaping time before recharging.

I think most vapers probably start out wanting something that looks like an analog. I personally couldn't handle the constant recharging and having to carry extra batteries everywhere. So I gave the eGo a try. I figured the size would deter me from carrying it around and using it in public, but I discovered it's not really that big. I don't hold it like a regular cigarette, but it was very easy to adapt to. Now when I use my old analog size 510 it feels funny...too lightweight.

I'm sure others will give you their opinions of the smaller style batteries they've used, but if you've already discovered that battery life is important to you then I suggest you consider giving an eGo or Riva style unit a try. The cool thing about the eGo is that many of the accessories you use with them (cartos, atties, etc.) are interchangeable with the smaller 510 battery.

I couldn't say as I didn't experiment, but you can get a couple of KR808 or Joye 510 batteries and use them with an adapter for your 4081 attys + carts or cartos. I don't know if there are PCC's for the 4081 batts, but there are PCC's for both the KR808 and 510. Analog sized batteries generally don't last long due to the size restriction, so you work around it with spares, PCC's, passthroughs, etc. if the size is that important to you.

Sorry, but I know nothing about smoke stik or the others you mentioned. Stay tuned!

Made my own pcc for whatever has a usb out. So its not like i will every not have a full battery. It just the upkeep. I am ALWAYS charging a battery. these ones only last a couple hours. less with heavy vaping. I dont see why they cant just make one a little longer with extra boost?

KR808D-1 should be about the same thickness as RN4081 and here's a picture of the sizes (in wild Vapor4Life's Vapor King colors):
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/58027-vaporking-user-guide.html

RN4081 standard battery 220mah (SmokeStik is also RN4081)

KR8 shorty - 180mah
KR8 standard - 280mah
KR8 xl - 380mah (but these will not fit in the closed PCC)

If you go to an atty+cart model the same length as standard KR8, you will get less battery life out of the same length e-cigarette because the atty is part of the length of a 3-piece.

Or and re all of those "Name" brands you rattled off, do not buy any PV without knwoing what model it really is, whether it is a good model, and whether you are paying too much. ALL slim cylindrical e-cigs are made in China by a handful of companies. Some models are good and some are not. And rebranders stick their own names and colors on them, both the good and the bad models, and at least 1/2 of the rebranders rip you off. Many of them offer no blank carts and sell filled carts/cartos designed to be harder to refill. Many of them charge outrageous prices for spare parts (like $50 for a battery when a battery should cost under $15, maybe $18 for a fancy color). And some of the rebrander models are mainly compatible only with other rebrander models.

Some rebranders are reputable and sell things at reasonable prices and offer blank carts or cartos etc. But even then, some are using more generally supported and compatible models than others. Like KR808D-2 aka e9 versus the KR808D-1 - the -2 is a popular rebrander model which is not thread compatible with the very similar KR808D-1 which is the more supported cartomizer model.
