Hello all, thanks for reading.

So this so far I have come to learn about Atomizers... Atomizers essentially are a string wrapped in nicron wiring. The nicron wiring heats up around the string (or wick). The wicked is soaked with either a VG or PG or both mix. Which produces a flavorful vapor.

Now my question is this...

Is it really true or is just speculation? I'm doing a test on this in the next couple of weeks to determine whether it is... But I'd really like everyone else's thoughts on this.

So does VG do more harm to atomizers at say 3.7 or higher voltage (or maybe the voltage doesnt matter)

Or does PG do more harm to atomizers?

Because I'm dying to know... Why I keep buying atomizers and I keep putting my beloved Kretek vape (70% PG 30% VG Sweetened with sucrose)... And uh lol about after usually a day or 2 I end up... Having to load up another Ikenvape HV 306 Atomizer with it... At this rate I'll be spending way more money than I was for cigarettes.

lol. I mean I have luck with some liquids that don't seem to destroy atomizers as quickly. Like this past week I got an order for some Vortexes from Gotvapes and I also got some 60% PG 35% VG mix Haiwan kerpow from them and I mean I had no issues for almost a whole week of heavy vaping with that thing and might I add... No cleaning. Just straight use from last monday to last saturday.

Then it started to do that burn taste and create that death spiral for the atomizer. So I chucked it.

But I love the flavor of this clove cig Kretek and I just cannot for the life of me get past a few hours of use now before the flavor like alters and before I know it... It's burning my throat with every drag and then eventually tasting kinda good for a little bit... THEN BAM DEAD.

So I've been thinking of ordering a all PG Kretek with no sweetener from Tasty vapor in hopes that maybe my atomizers will last for at least a week or 2. God forbid. lol. But maybe I should wait till they make some sort of saucer heating element that heats up liquid and then once that liquid gets to hard on the saucer you just flick some sort of switch on it and (don't inhale) and it like super dry burns lol... Wouldn't that be great? haha.

...Sigh.

Any thoughts... Anyone?

Clove is an oil flavoring and I would suspect the clove before I would suspect the PG or VG since I have gummed up attys faster with a juice I have with orange in it (another oil flavoring)

But re cartos - VG is thicker and can actually get hung up in tightly stuffed cartos - it doesn't saturate the stuffing as well unless the vendor or you thin it with distilled water or PGA. I find thin juices seem to keep a carto vaping well longer. So even with 70pg/30vg juices, my thicker ones seem to degrade a carto faster.

I run 100% VG through my Iken 510's and have no issue what so ever, Try running them much wetter Antlion, I mean WET the wetter the better with HV, and LR for that matter but I use Iken exclusively for Atty's & Carto's I don't understand why people have issues, I tend to think it is more user Error than anything else and they don't keep them wet enough IMHO

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the advice. Oh and yes I didn't really mean sucrose... Was too lazy to look and see what Geoff uses for a sweetener it is sucralose. Yea, I've been thinking for future purchases... No sweetener and a definitely more PG for his liquids. And you guys are right I have used 100% VG before and contrary to some peoples beliefs it doesn't seem to mess with the attys too much if you use it as a whole... But if you divide it... Hm well its just a fickle thing isnt it? lol. Anyway, I know Geoff recommends using Vodka whew but man that could be an expensive add in... Even with my idea initially of using a syringe to save more of the vodka. I really don't want to mess with cleaning too much other than water and dry burn and then more water and over night sit. But thank you all for your guidance, much kudos to you all.
