question about PG/VG

I have both atomizers, and DCC and have realized that some vendors/posts talk about using a minimum % of PG or VG for best results and got a bit confused.

So what i got from it is w/ DCC and reg cartos? that a max of 20-30% VG is recommended for best results

and a minimum of 50% VG is recommended for atomizers?

are those numbers correct? or what do you guys recommend?
I have DCC at 1.5ohms and 1.25ohms and 2 regular atomizers, 1 debridged, 1 debridged and dewicked,1 LR atomizer debridged/dewicked, 1 regular unmodified atomizer. Thanks!

they say that 20-30%VG for cartos because anything more than that percentage and the filler has a hard time soaking and wicking to the coils correctly. BUT I only vape 95-100%VG and i have used plenty of carto's. I have yet to have a problem.

as far as atomizers go ive never heard of a minimum amount or pg/vg. maybe the 50%vg is so that the nicquid doesnt just flow right out of the holes in the bottom connector because vg is a little thicker. this can easily be fixed by a drip shield. avidvaper sells 510 drip shields. or empire mods has a 901 but adapters can make it work for 510 also.

There are many people who vape 100% PG or 100% VG. PG is definitely more flavorful. It's a personal preference thing unless you are allergic to one or the other as a few are.
