Yes, the Sweet-Vapes description is accurate. It is, indeed, a VV Gripper, a new device from SmokTech that was offered first by Madvapes, now by Sweet-Vapes, and will soon be available from many other vendors. Some people have called it a SmokTech Vmax in a different case, but that's not likely. The Vmax uses stacked 18350 batteries and a buck regulator, with a 5-amp limit. The VV Gripper uses a single 18650 IMR high-drain battery and a buck-boost regulator, with a 4-amp limit.
The case design is similar---but not identical---to the Ovale V6/V8. Same rubberized black finish, but more boxy and less oval, and with a flat bottom, rather than the curved "rocking" bottom of the V6/V8.
Early user feedback is that this is another small-scale hard-hitting VV, where the implementation of PWM has peak spikes that kick off each on-pulse and increase the intensity of the vape at lower voltages, so that it seems to vape "hotter" than the set voltage.
