The button is on the bottom, it is telescoping, but in a different way. You can switch out the copper nipples. I'm out right now but I will post pics of the insides later. I took most of the stuff from work but from Home Depot it would cost $20-$30. I used the connector from my acrylic z max that broke

That's awesome Otis. I wish I had skills like that. One last question and I'll leave ya alone. Is it kickable?

i dont know what kickable means! needs a few improvements, better spring, vent holes,bigger bottom on positive post. i just finished it and was very exited!

A kick is a device that adds variable wattage (VW) to a device that doesn't have variable capabilities inherently (like mechanical mods). I believe (don't own one) that it is about 15mm, so you can use a 18350 with a kick in a 18500 tube, or 18500 with kick in a 18650 tube. From what I hear, it also significantly shortens battery live.

Anyway, awesome job on the home-made mod! Looks very cool.

That looks cool!! I am envious of all you peeps that can fabricate and put together stuff like this. I can barely hot glue gun together an altoids box mod with everything already pre fabbed and wired together. AAGH!

I'll make more in case anyone wants them. I'll work out the kinks tomorrow and get it perfect. Right now the spring is a little shaky. Also, does anyone know of any kind of clear coat that is good for copper? My hands stink like a bag of pennies!
