I've looked at the Reo's mod website. Tried contacting the owner of the website. I'm wondering if all the rebuildable atomizers listed work with the Reo Grand. Also what comes with the Reo Grand?

Not all of them, if the atomizer says LP only it will only work with the low profile Grand. And you get an extra bottle with caps and some Noalox with it, if I missed something I am sure one of the longer time Reoville Residents will chime in. You can't go wrong with a Reo they are great!

There are two types of REO grands the standard or the LP. If you are into rebuilding and trying new things the LP is the way to go. If you are not into rebuilding, and like disposable coils the standard is usually the way to go.

The REO comes with a small bottle of Noalax and an extra bottle. Generally speaking most people want a button cover, and another spring at the minimum. The owner is very active on this forum and goes by redeyedancer or is often referred to by his name Rob.

A basic buying list would be a REO Lp Grand, Button cover, extra spring or two, a Lp reomizer, and a few extra bottles. This assumes you have the right batteries and charger, kanthal, wick material, and ohm meter.

Hopefully this is what you were looking for. If not fire away with questions and someone will be along to help.

See Rob (REO owner) already beat me to it.

It can be a little confusing for someone new to Reos. There are two types of Grands. There is the standard Grand with the larger catch cup and the LP Grand with the more shallow catch cup. When ordering an atty make sure you order the same type of atty that matches your Grand. An LP atty with an LP Grand.

Noalax keeps the sparks away, many prefer deoxit as it is less messy and lasts a little longer.

From the sounds of your questions go with a Lp grand or SL/LP grand. The spring is like a fuse and is a disposable safety. Basically if you short or exceed safe ohm limits it is designed to prevent battery failure. Hence once it works and fails you should replace it with a new spring.

If you plan to use large dual coil atomizers, or even small single coil ones, you will want the low profile grand. If you choose the LP grand, just pick any of the LP atomizers available. If you want the standard grand, pick standard non LP atomizers. Not trying to sell you on it, but the low profile is the way to go. It just has more options, that's really the difference. If you want a LP lighter weigh grand, rob even sells LP/SL (low profile/super light). My next grand will be a SL if I can't get my hands on a woodvil.

Has anyone used the reomixer 4.0? I'm used to building with 26 gauge wire and using cotton. That reomizer looks like it will only take 28 gauge unless the holes are drilled out.

I use 26ga with them. It's a little bit of a tight fit but it def works

Reos are somewhat confusing when you first start shopping. I watched a couple of SuperXDrifter's videos and bit the bullet; his videos are really very helpful. I would say that some are nearly required viewing.

I got the Grand Low Profile with a low profile RM2 and a button. I chose the Low Profile due to its flexibility in atomizer choices, to the best of knowledge, any bottom feeding atomizer will work. The button I got strictly for looks. I have not been using the Reo for very long but I have not regretted buying it. I was built and running in well less than an hour. They have great flavor and vapor better than any others I have used . Though Rios appear to be complicated, they are quite simple to use. Because you are already an experienced vaper and re-builder, you will have no problems.

Ask anything here and you will get knowledgeable considerate answers .
