Hi all,

I've been vaping for about 3 years and have to say I love it. That being said, I've developed a sensitivity to PG based liquid, and I've switched to VG based juice recently. I already own a lot of different 510 based batteries and chargers of various types (generic 510/eGo 510, etc)

I've been searching the web for a few days looking for 100% VG based cartomizers, which seem to be very hard to find (PG based all over the place and some websites dont even say what type of liquid their prefilled cartos have) I want to stay away from anything like Dekang or PG (these seem to cause asthma for some reason) and stick with brands like blu/johnsons creek.

But blu/johnson creek Vea cartos are expensive, and I go through 3-5 cartos a day. I really can't afford to keep buying them at this rate. I was wondering if you guys knew of some cheaper VG based cartos to work with my 510 batts? If you could share some links and pricing that would be great! Also I dont want to fill my own blank cartos with VG based liquids, just buy prefilled VG and pitch when done.

Thanks!

Yeah I've looked at Boge and I've seen they are pretty cheap! I really don't want to fill my own cartos though, I've been down that road before and I really didn't like it. The cheapest VG cartomizers I can find are 5-packs of blu 100's for 10 bucks. Now I've seen a 5-pack of prefilled Dekang cartos for 6 bucks on the web. It would be nice to see VG prefilled cartos for 6 bucks, or even 8 bucks.

However, I really want to see more options. Anyone seen 100% VG cartos for 510's other than blu/johnson creek?

At least buy some liquid to top-off the cartomizers you have used. Honestly, filling your own isn't that difficult or messy. You could fill up a bunch while watching TV. But if you definitely don't want to go that route, you could top-off the cartos you already have with a few drops of liquid to extend the life of the cartomizers you do have. You might get serveral days out of a carto you're throwing away after a few hours.

I had a feeling I'd get a lot of posts recommending I refill the cartos xD
I know the benefits already of refilling cartos, I used to refill mine all the time. I honestly didn't like it, and I'm willing to pay more to just use disposables. I really don't like dripping or refilling cartos, I've had a bad experience doing that and I'd prefer to just stay away from both of those methods and I'm willing to pay more to avoid getting liquid in my mouth again.

I just wanted to see if there were any other companies out there other than blu/johnsons creek. I mean if blu and johnsons creek are the only 100% VG prefilled carto companies out there, then the market has a huge hole that needs filled. I'm willing to wager there has to be other companies out there that have 100% VG based cartos. Please share if any of you know about it.

Also I've used vea cartos on my 510s and they work beautifully.

Would you mind telling me what you used it on? Because I've tried them on my old Blu batteries and my friends ego and they wouldn't work.

I don't think there's really a big hole in the market because most people come to the realization that buying prefilled is too expensive. Just as you yourself have realized.
You could always try clearomizers or vivi nova tank like system if you're dead set on not filling your own cartomizers.

TB:
I've used vea on blu 100 batts just yesterday and it worked perfectly. I also used vea on westsidevapor.com 510 batteries and used 10 vea cartos on them, the vapor was superior to westside's own cartos and the taste was amazing!!! I love the vea. I have not used vea on standard blu batts and not on janty ego batts.

I'd like to add that westsidevapor 510 batts are amazing and last almost as long as ego's.

About clearmoizers and vivi nova tank, could you elaborate or PM me on how they work? I thought those were just clear empty cartomizers and refilling them would be the same as refilling any other carto? Thanks :)

Also, blu and JC are selling their cartos pretty well, so I'd imagine that another company selling 100% VG cartos would definitely fill a hole or at least add competition. I think only hardcore e-smokers fill their own. It's like those people that like rolling their own tobacco.

refilling is messy. You get juice on your hands and in your mouth, not every time, but the 1 times out of 10 is enough for me to say no. Also time consuming, and I like convenience ;)

I looked at clearos, I've read they break a lot, and some don't work at all on the forums. Some also flood which is the thing I like to avoid. Honestly flooding is one of the reasons why I walked away from refilling. Also the quality of a fresh carto has always been better than one refilled. I watched some videos on clearos and they remind me of filling cartos. Honestly only difference I saw was vapor production. I'm just not one of those types that likes to bust out the syringe and refill cartos. I have a couple of newborns, and I also don't have any spacfe really do to this. I'd much rather just use disposable cartos at this point. I think once I run out of cartos I'll look into clearos and see if I can refill em and not flood my mouth. xD

In the mean time, as the original thread and original post states, if someone could share 100% VG carto dealers please share them.

Just in the interest of informing other people, JC's website does state that "By using the e-cig industries most popular thread size vapers can use their new Vea cartomizers with many of their existing batteries".

Obviously you've used them on other devices and they've worked. I've tried them on the Blu 'standard' and on a regular Joytech ego 3.7 batt and they did not.

Also in the review that sold me on the Vea, igetcha69 pointed out that he could not use them on any other device that he tried. Explanation begins at 3:35.

So, just putting it out there. They may work on your device or not. Buyer beware.

Hi tonechild, I have been down your exact rode before and theres no cheap 100vg cartomizers. I have been vaping 3yrs and most of that a vg vaper I do not like filling my own for the very reasons you mention; however either pay 10+ dollars for a pk of cartomizers or hassle the filling of your own. You can order a minium of 100 from China very cheap but I would not recommend that cause you do not know what your vaping, at all cost please stay USA with what you put into your lungs. You may talk with 1 of the 100vg cart suppliers and see what kind of deal you can get if you buy in bulk, vapor4life, blu, johnson creek, artisian vapers are the few I know carry vg carts. Goodluck

Thanks for sharing TB. I forgot to mention I work 2 jobs and just don't have the time for cleaning/refilling nor do I have a "workstation" that is acceptable in my home. It's just really inconvenient. Also I've done it before and managed to flood my mouth a few times. Not fun. In addition, atomizers get dirty pretty fast, and irritate my asthma as well.

I mean I used to vape on the cheap! I used to get the cheap chinese liquid and just drip on atomizers. This was costing me like 80 bucks every other month and was so nice. But then my asthma started getting worse, and noticed it went away after using disposable cartos which are more expensive then smoking cigarettes. But then I noticed that the PG liquid irritates my asthma as well, so I switched to VG and had no irritations. Such a pain to figure this out. The VG drips I had though on atomizers don't have any throat hit at all but the JC VG and blu VG are really nice. IT's just been a long painful learning experience for me. Smoking regular cigs don't bother my asthma at all.

I have asthma because of pet allergies, and becuase I have a pet (the wife's pet) my asthma sensitivity has increased a lot, so now I have to use VG liquid and and hepa filters and I'm OK. It's better than kicking the cat out (wife is happy) and as long as I have the hepa filters in the house and use VG liquid I have no symptoms.

There was a study they did recently and proved that ecigs cause the lungs to restrict. They were using PG liquid though. USP grade VG liquid is the way to go for people like me. ALso have to keep the atomizer's extremely clean. Cleaner than most people, like pretty much if you gonna refill you must clean before refilling every time.

So for a very busy man such as myself who is on the go a lot, I do best with a PCC and disposable cartos. The problem is this is costing me near $8 a day, where as cigs costed me $6 a day. So that's a shame, but I'd rather vape than smoke.

If I could just find cheaper VG cartos I'd be happy. I'm thinking about buying them wholesale lol maybe that'll save me some money.
