I've been burning through my 2600mah sony VTC5's lately in my DNA20 at 20w. I usually get decent life span from them in 15w, but recently got a Fogger v4(.3) and with dual coils 0.8ohm its eating batteries. I don't think I need the 30a as according to ohms law I'm only pulling about 5.25 amps.

Is there a >2600mah 18650 battery with low internal resistance???????? or is this the best of my options?

Chipotle.
For a safe chemistry IMR battery, the VTC5 is amongst the best of all options out there. Efest has recently released a 3100mah 20A 18650 in their "purple" series, but I have not seen any comparisons of battery life/capacity against the known good competitors.

Edit: What sort of time/length are you getting from a full charge VTC5 on the DNA mod?

about 4 hours (g/t) at 20w..... I'll actually try and do some timing.... but as example today, using the fogger 4.3 which holds about 3ml of juice... I filled the tank twice, and went thru 3 or 4 batteries (pretty sure it was 4). at 20w on the dna. even though the dna stops firing and giving battery warnings, and the battery meter shows empty, when I put it in the nitecore i4 charger, the 1st of 3 charging light is already steady so it starting to charge on the 2nd light.... telling me its only getting about 65-70% of the batteries capacity before the dna20 doesnt feel its capable of firing anymore.

And yes, its an authentic evolv dna20 - not a china clone. :D
