From popping my silicone gasket/insulator, whatever you wanna call it, in and out when cleaning my pv, (i'm a clean freak about it) I noticed a small tear in the gasket. It still works fine, no shorts, just wanted to get some backups for when it does go.

I've seen these on the web at one place if i remember right, except i can't really remember where :glare: anyone seen them around?

Heatshrink tubing works to make a new insulator. Cut a short piece. Remove torn insulator. Slip short piece of heatshrink over the center post. Find the cigarette lighter that you stashed when you started vaping. Heat the heatshrink until it conforms to the center post. Trim any off the top, so you have a connection with your atty/carto. Slide back into connector. vape on!

ah well hell thats easy enough! thanks man!. If need be i'll do that. Does that give it some wiggle room in the adapter though? I use the omega and i can imagine if it wiggles to much it can make contact with a neg piece of the mod. If i can find the stock gaskets i'm still gonna try and get a few. or is it pretty tight?

Take any old attie and pop the pos. connector from the thread end. the isolator is the same as the one in the battery connector Actually, it is better than most that I have seen.

I ended up doing this. I'm glad it worked because when i went to do this, i popped out the center post, easy to do on my mod, and half of the old gasket came out with it!

I used an old carto that was giving crap vapor production (i have no bad atties, i guess thats good :) ) . broke that down and found a slightly smaller (in outer diameter, not inner) white rubber gasket that seemed a good bit tougher and harder than the clear gasket that came stock. more rubber less silicone. So thankyou very much guys! i'm gonna start saving these out of my dead cartos
