Hey everyone! I recently upgraded from a halo g6 to an ego battery with a ce4 v2. All I can say is I do NOT like it at all. I can only take a few toots on it and then it tastes burnt. I am assuming that it is having problems wicking. I currently am using a blend 50/50 pg vg what would be a good, relatively cheap, clearomizer to pick up to fix this problem?

Personally, I have been having really good luck with Vivi Nova's. However, only Vision Vivi Nova's seems to last with thicker, VG juices. They are a little bit costly (around $10), but usually you get extra heads, so you can change them if they get gunked up. I would also +1 for Kanger BCC clearomizers. Although, I have noticed they mute the flavor a bit.

I would agree, the V3 Vivi Nova's are great, actually using one right now, its a 3.5ml and came with 3 heads. 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8 ohm heads, using the 2.8ohm head on my Tesla with 50/50 juice at 8 Watts. Nothing but clouds of Vapor and Great taste, absolutely no leaks, no gurgling and not one dry hit, as i chain vape. VaporAlley.com has them $12....Or there is the 2.5ml ones too. IMO Bottom Coil Clearomizers have a very cool Vape, some have a very airy draw, and they tend to gurgle and form a lot of condensation, plus if left standing upright all night they will leak.... Ive tried just about every one of them, and i wont even bother with another BCC again, other than that, i would recommend a GOOD Carto Tank, Dual Coil or Single Coil, thats your choice to what your battery can take, but they're another great setup, until you get into Dripping Atty's and Rebuildable's... Just a few suggestions... :2c:

Edit: Well i see ECF changed my links to their home page, sorry.... So i removed them....

I vape my diy 70/30 vg/pg juice and in a vivi nova it is too thick to wick fast enough and just burn after a few toots much like you are describing. I have an evod and a protank and because the coils sit at the bottom of the juice never a dry hit or wicking issue.

Vape on :)

Also iv never had a leaking issue with my protank or evod I double up the 2mm wick when I make my coil and it never gurgles and if I want a warm vape I just fire it for a secondnor two before inhaling and its nice and warm. So their are deff some mixed feelings on botton coil devices

If you want to avoid the dry, burnt hit from a clearomizer, then you have to go with bottom coils. They don't have wicking problems. Top coils can work, but they are position dependent, meaning you have to tilt the device to keep the wicks saturated. Gets really old. Bottom coils as position independent and never have burnt, dry hits, unless you vape all of the juice. Just the nature of the design. I started with vivi's, but then discovered the far superior bottom coils (IMHO), that eliminated the same thing you don't like. My :2c:. Good luck and Vape On!

My experience is similar. I started with top coil clear tanks, moved to EVOD and MT3's and never looked back. I have never had any of my six BCC's (more coming) display problems that weren't of my making and they've been consistently good performers. As long as I do it right, they do it as designed.
