I'm new to vaping, I've been doing it for about 2 months now. The first few weeks were great, I didn't even want cigarretes, and I smoked like a chimney for years. Then all of a sudden I started wanting them again, even light cigs that I hate. Here is what I've tried: I upped by nicotine level to 28 from 24 mgs, started vaping more but still think about smoking if I see them. I think what the problem may be is I don't get a lot of vapor production with what I have and I think it just isn't satisfying anymore. I don't get the cloud of "smoke" I'm used to with cigs. I am using a Kanger Evod clearomizer on an ego-style 650 mah battery with ejuice at 70/30 pg/vg. I started out at 50/50 but burnt the wicks in my first regular CE4 clearomizer so I went down to a thinner mix. What can I do to get more vapor? How thick can I go with the Evod without gunking it up? Higher vg makes more vapor, so I have heard. Thanks for any and all replies.

I was heavy smoker for years. So I bought as my first vaping device Smoktech The Natural MOD with Smoktech RSST atomizer. I use them with the reasonable 1.9 Ω coil made out of Kanthal 0.25 mm (30 AWG) wire and straw 25×35 mm wick made out of mesh 400. I vape daily two 3 ml tanks of 24 mg/ml tobacco liquids. It’s 180 ml of a liquid per month. I own also VAMO V2 SS MOD with AGA-T2 atomizer. After mastering them I like them the same as my mechanical MOD.

During the last few years I smoked roll-your-own cigarettes. Now I vape. From time to time I feel like smoking the tobacco. I don’t buy the tobacco, cigarette papers, and filters for RYO because the entire packet of the tobacco is enough to make 50 cigarettes which is way too much. I don’t buy either the regular cigarettes because 20 cigarettes is way too much as well and the regular cigarettes have really nasty taste. I bought once a good cigar – that’s the best option but good cigars are very expensive. So I bought a packet of the tobacco for my old Savinelli Octavia pipe and I smoke it two or three times a week. With my vaping gear I don’t feel a big urge to smoke the tobacco but I still like it sometimes assuming that it’s some good tobacco.

If you get a juice that has more VG (the second number in a mix), something like 50/50 or even 30/70 you should get more vapor. I love my Protank 2, it gives very good vapor production at 4.5v with a higher VG blend. Used to smoke a pipe, so I totally 'get you' with regard to vapor production. I don't want to effect weather systems, just have as satisfying a 'drag' as with my pipe.

yeah, exactly. Thanks. I am going to try a little thicker mix and see if that helps. I did get more when I had 50/50, but I changed it because at that mix there was almost no flavor to it. I have a shop here in town that works with me on flavoring, and I can taste them before I buy. They make something called Message in a Bottle, and it is heavenly.

I started with a joytech ego but found myself in the same boat. I bought a vamo, a few protanks (love the protank mini) and a vamo 2 and it solved my problem. Now, all the gadgetry is more of an obsession and fun to try new things but that basic setup for me is my staple. The vamo allows you to adjust the voltage which for me I will up that puppy if I've had a couple of cocktails! It makes it much easier! Also, I switched to VG liquid simply because PG was irritating my throat and found the vapor is much more what I was looking for anyway. Hopefully some of this helps but it's fun to try new things out! I have used this board religiously to help me find good products and saved myself quite a bit of money in the process.

Welcome to the forum.

I started with a Halo G6 and their mini tanks (similar to your CE4's). Using their 78mm (280mAh) and 102mm(?mAh) batteries I've never had a problem getting lots of vapor out of them, either with their liquids or the DIY liquids I make in 70/30, 60/40 and 50/50. Even though with the G6 batteries a 5 second draw is suppose to be the maximum. Have used all three PG/VG combo's in the Halo's with no problems. I have 3 Kanger EVOD's as well that I run on my mechanical and VV VW mods. The more powerful 18650 and 18350 batteries make a lot of vapor with them - although I mostly use the solutions with more VG in them and my other Kanger stuff on the mods. I've not had any problems with any of my gear "gunking up" in anything, and I've vaped some really dark liquids. Sounds like you are chain vaping, getting the coills too hot, or not cleaning them often enough. ???

I had heard that with the clearomizers that 50/50 may be too thick and gunk them up, I wasn't sure about the Evod though since it feeds from the bottom. I saw the G6 and thought about trying one. I am trying to get a few different systems, just so I can switch it up from time to time. And yes I am vaping like a fiend since I started getting these new cravings now.

Can we use regular fruit juice in a vaporizer?

Only if you plan on using your ego pen as a straw.....

OK...The word juice in e-juice is not in referring to "drinking" juice, instead referring to a special liquid used solely for vaping.
If you are looking for fruit flavors you should not have a problem as they are readily available.

If any of what I typed above makes no sense to you then U-OWN-EEN-KNOW!!!!

Ways to get more vapor...

--More VG and less PG
--More power by using lower resistance
--More power by using higher voltage

If you really want to stick with your current juice delivery system, then you probably need to try a Twist or Spinner.

Well said.
I prefer my coils to be around 1.8 - 2.2 ohms for optimum vapor production..
