I have been wanting to buy an american made mod for quite awhile now. I am still using all of my vaping stuff, which is the Halo Triton (good for vaping at public places with friends), my 75w TC Sigelei (which I use the most, now that I have a Nautilus and Nautilus mini), and my Halo Tracer (which I won in one of their Facebook contests... basically from what I have read it is a Joytech ego one battery 2200mah).
The Tracer came with a sub ohm tank, which I still cough when I use, so that has been shelved along with my Herakles tank. I use the Nautilus and N. Mini instead.
I have noticed that I get a lot stronger hit from my Sigelei than I do with my Tracer. I only noticed it so far with my full sized Nautilus, I am going to see if there is a difference as well with the Nautilus Mini. Does anyone know what the wattage is on the Tracer?
So back to the American made mod... I run my Sigelei very low, 12watts of power, and it is satisfactory for me. I have been looking at two American mods, the HexOhm and the Provari line. Can I run either of these mods low? Eventually I might work my way up, but its nice to run it low and extend the battery life.
If anyone can suggest a better suited american made mod for me, since I am a novice vaper, I would greatly appreciate it.

The Provari's are limited to 15 & 20 watts for the tube mods. They are very well made and many, many people are in that range. But, the full ones are at the $200 mark.

The NEW Provari Radius is a box mod with a positive reputation and it goes to 40watts. It also is at the $200 price point.

Thos forum leans to hobbyists that are interested in power, clouds, etc. That beijg said, many follow that trend.

Us lower power vapers just don't see it. Well, for me, I just want a good vape.

Ipredominantly use a rDNA40 from Vapershark. I do use a REO and a small Provari tube, but they just aren't my day to day. They do get used and I am gratefull to have them.

The Provari Radius is getting good reviews. It may replace my 4 Vapersharks some day.

Hope helps.

Thank you! I am a low power vaper, not sure if I am one of those intriguing named folks, but sub ohming just isn't clicking with me. I now have two sub ohm tanks (granted, I only paid for one) that I will only use as backups. I have to take baby pulls off of them in order not to cough lol!
I am all about the flavor!
At first I was drawn tot he HexOhm mods, but I really like the Provari, I think it is more my speed and style. I know its pricey, but hey its Christmas lol
