My mother was so intrigued by my VModXL that she has decided that she wants to quit smoking and take up the world of vaping. In being the good son that I am :pI have offered to buy her a standard VMod 2.0 (as per her choice between the two) to get started on. Our only problem now will be finding a juice that she likes enough to get her away from the stinkies for good. Here in lies the problem. I have a box full of juices that I have tried from many vendors and would like to sit down with her for a juice tasting. I still have my old eGo batts and a few cartos but I think this would work much smoother for us if I had some type of dripping atty for this. Can anybody recommend a decent dripping atty for my eGos (or something else 510 threaded that will fill my need) that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I have never dripped before so I need as much info as you can give me. As always...Thanks ECF!

I have 3 Joye 510 attys that I use for dripping. They are about 2.2 ohms so they work fine with egos. I also use an Igo-L, a phoenix clone and one that kindof resembles an A7. These are all rebuildable. The A7 "clone" came from discount vapors and it already had a coil in it and so far I haven't changes that one. Someone mentioned that they liked the Wyvern rebuildable. I think both of these are ready to vape although they'll cost between $15-$18. The Joye attys are like $6 but aren't rebuildable.

Defnitely need something that is ready to vape. I know absolutely nothing about dripping and RBAs so I need to keep it simple and ready to go out of the box. I just want to make sure that I am getting something that will stay relatively true to the flavors of the juices, will not burn out on me before we are done, and comes from a reputable vendor here in the USA.

Check for a 306 atty. WAYYY better than the regular 510's. I used both b4 I started rebuilding, and 306's blow 510's away. You can get them anywhere, but I got mine from ecigexpress, but I've heard a lot of bad things about credit fraud from there lately so you may want to check someplace else. I think empiremods.com has bridgeless 306's, even better. I just always de-bridged my own.

You might find my blog helpful:

Drip, Drip, Drip…

These are two most popular attys for when new vapers give dripping a try. They are easy to use and inexpensive:

A 510 atty looks like this and takes a 510 drip tip:

A 306 Atomizer has 510 connection threading, but the body is slimmer than a 510 atomizer and needs a different size drip tip. A 306 has the same components as a 510, but doesn't have a jacket (tube) going up the outside so you see the bridge and the wick.

The atty is called a “306” because it was originally part of Joye’s 306 cig-a-like design. 306 kits are still sold today.

The 306 drip tip fits on the outside of the body, like the “Cannon” from Cherry Vape. When using a 306 drip tip do not force it down onto the atty,! The tip aren’t designed to go all the way down and if forced can be damaged causing it to leak. I know, I did it.

When someone refers to an atty being "de-bridged," the bridge and the wick (as illustrated in the 510 above) have been removed, leaving only the coil and the reservoir. The method of dripping with a de-bridged atty is basically the same as a regular atty, but you have to be fast. You are dripping directly onto the coil - think of dripping water onto the coil of an electric stove. Instant sizzle. The pro with using a de-bridged atty is more intense flavor; the cons are less draws per drop and it’s easier to get a dry hit.

I'll go away and be quiet now
