i have window shopped online and still do not have any success finding a dripper. I do not want to break the bank but also want a decent rebuild-able one. Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the smoktech octopus? The default airflow is pretty bad, but if you don't mind drilling out a new airhole (the caps are soft aluminum, easy to drill by hand) you can plug the factory holes and it works great. I have four of them and use them more than my igo-l, chimbus, or igo-w. They run about $8 a piece.
I use a Reo, so my rda experience is mostly limited to bottom feeding attys. However, most of the Igo line is very popular around here. The Igo L and the Igo S are smaller. The Igo W is bigger and set up for dual coils. Overall, most of the cheaper drippers can put out good vapor, depending on the coil built and airflow.
My first RDA is the IGO-L. It's simple, it works good and there's a lot of room to build, so it's fine. But when I buy another one I'm getting one with holes in the posts. Getting wires around the screws has been a bit tedious so far, although I'll probably improve over time.
So I'd keep that in mind as you shop for one.

Immortalizer hands down. IGO/Nimbus/Trident/Omega style RDAs are a dime a dozen. The Fatty v3 looks promising however, as does the Origen. There are no clones of the Origen yet to my knowledge, but the Fatty v3 and Immortalizer can be had inexpensively though. Go with the hcigar Immortalizer clone though. Fasttech has had issues with stripped screws and missing o-rings.
I too have been wanting to try the drip method so far what is the concensus? the best one to buy?
I'll not only like but second this........I have a large and a small one. Straight out the box (well no box) both work well. Easy to clean wicks and keep using or recoil/rewick
I did not drill air hole.
Will second this as well........coils are easy to adjust for TH but a little tedious with the wrapping of screws..........have had no leaking, holds a lot of juice
for a dripper.

Does the Nimbus clone from MadVapes come with 1 airflow hole or 2?
New to vaping and this may be a silly question but...if something is rebuildable does that mean it has to be? I don't want or know how to rebuild yet but want to try dripping. I would like something nice but not real expensive?

What do you guys know about the Trident RDA? I just found one and it seems fairly uplifting. I don't know if it matters, but i am vaping on a Itaste SVD.
Try the bridge-less atomizers at Smartvapes. They are excellent, and the price is good. I have had one for several weeks and it is still working.

Welcome. I hope you like it. If you like lots of throat hit and a warm vape, try their low resistance atomizers. Otherwise you can choose standard resistance. that's what i use with my ego at 3.8 - 4 ohms.
