Figured I would ask here first, just wondering if there is anywhere I can buy a GGTS connection base for my Ody v2. I figure they're all sold out, so I will keep looking in the classies, but figured maybe I would get lucky here.
I have a SSGGTS in the mail right now (so excited!) but only have the 510 base for my Ody.

Thanks guys!

I got one form Vassilis a couple weeks ago. He didn't have them listed on the site but when I emailed him, he did have one to sell. Only problem for me was the threading on the adapter is not very good so it doesn't fit on the ggts side, I got one from Bruce before that had this same issue too so you might ask him to check the threads before sending it.

if you have two Ody bases that dont work, pethaps the threading on collector tank is the culprit

Nope, I sent the first one back to Bruce and he replaced it with one that fit. I'm not sure it is worth it to send the one back to Vassilis though so I will probably take a file to the threads to see if I can work it out. I have 2 ggts and 4 ody's all of the ody's except this last one have a ggts base and everything is interchangeable except this one part. Since it happened twice now from 2 different vendors I just suspected that this may have been a bad batch or something weird like that. I'm sure if the OP ask Vassilis to test it before sending that he would do it, he is pretty awesome like that.

The most common issue are the small metal parts inside threads gsa. My suggestion is to do what factories do. Sand with a thin sand paper the male and female threads and they will fit like a glove.:)

I don't have brass connections, though.. what parts are people talking about when they say you should have brass connections? I see a bunch of brass parts... brass button replacement, brass center pin, brass button pin, brass springs, etc. Should I be trying to find all of those things?
I'm also trying to get a Kick, is there anything else I should look for?

Brass conducts better than SS so all around performance is better. Shoot me a pm if you don't find an Ody/GGTS base as I have an extra one coming from COV when they ship out my order. I also have a couple Kicks that I don't use anymore.

you are right exept the button housing River. Button housing is brass already in all GG. Some housings are nickel plated but they are ok.
Brass conductors include, connector pin, battery post and spring, button housing, button spring, and button pin.

Thanks Imeo. I did try sanding the threads on the base but it doesn't fit and I am not wanting to sand the threads on the collector tanks since the other 3 bases all fit perfectly. I checked the pitch on the male threads of the connector and they are perfect 1mm so I am guessing they were just not cut quite deep enough. I just need to pick up a triangle file small enough to get in there as all of mine are just too big. It's not a big deal though, I need a dedicated ody for stealth anyways :)
