Im ready to get a good box mod for a beginner, i have been using egos and i want to upgrade but im not ready to build my own coils, ive been thinking about the egrip because of the replaceable atomizers, just not sure if i can still be able to build my own if i decide to do so later on down the line, also not a fan of the 1500 mah,i want a better battery..any recommendations?

eGrip here and on day 2.....WOW is all I can say so far....my first mod ;) coming off an eGo (non-VV/VW) with a Kanger mini Protank.

Then this afternoon I find out they're coming out with a RDA for it....now pre-ordered :D

I know the coils are on the pricey side, but some are getting 2+weeks out of them, so price looks like a wash to me.

MVP2 is a solid dead nuts reliable device. I have bought one MVP1 and two MVP2's, great devices. That said, they are coming out with an MVP3 in the next month or so that's going to be a bit more modern. The istick is an option but the poor power regulation is a big issue for me, gave my two to my wife. I have an egrip I bought for stealth vaping but it's still in the box as that is a rare occasion. The Hana clones are pretty sorted out at this point. If the budget is flexible it's hard to beat a Vapor Shark.

I would highly suggest a Nautilus/Nautilus Mini for your tank until you are ready to do rebuildables. They are absolutely wonderful tanks. Variable airflow and coils that seem to last forever.

If you want a good boxmod, I'm sure there will be a ton of suggestions that are all good.

If you want the BEST boxmod, buy a REO Grand. It's not necessary to be able to rebuild, as the REO was designed before RBAs existed. It's a bottomfed box, so there's 6ml of liquid on-board to "squonk" (it's a technical term) liquid up into the atty or carto of your choice. It uses an 18650 battery of your choice. It is a mechanical, so not circuit to fail and leave you stranded without a vape. It's a bit pricey, but it's dern-near indestructible and totally worth every cent. It took me some time to justify the expense, and when I finally took the plunge, I regretted all the time I wasted with other hardware. Many swear by it as their all-day rig. I'm one.

Check out the REO sub-forum for the most helpful, friendly community and support system of REO owners (Reonauts). Come on in. The weather's cloudy, but we like it like that! ;)

agree ^, REO is my go to mod right now. The RM2 attys for them are simple to build too.

I've been vaping on an MVP2 for a couple of months now. All the good things people say about it are absolutely true. Solid device. I do wish it could go over the 11 watts tho. But if you are not going to get into rebuildables, that's a non-issue.

I'm into RDAs now and the MVP can fire a single coil 1.3ohm build decently at the max 11 watts. Anything more than that, I would not go with less than a 30 watts mod.
