But not for the normal reasons. :) Both my wife and I have the ego-t's and are happy so far, but I am also going to start doing some DIY juices. With the ego-t it is a little tougher to try out the juices, so I am wondering what would be a good fairly cheap model that I can drip a couple drops in to just check out the flavor? Like a $20 starter kit from somewhere? Maybe I am way over thinking this, but I just thought it would be handy. I get lost when I start reading about 501's, 901's, etc, not sure really what I should look for.

I am assuming a 3 piece for easier dripping, beyond that I don't know. I am guessing I could look in to a standard ego kit without the batteries, and just use the batteries I have now? Probably be the smartest way? Thanks,

Brew

You could get a LR atomizer for your Ego-T and a drip tip. No use buying another whole kit.. I'm assuming your ego-t came with a cone to use if you weren't using the tank? If not, you might want to get one of those too. Totally Wicked has what you need and they just announced 34% off with code: Tweet34 on their twitter feed (that changes frequently, so you might want to check before you order)Electronic Cigarettes / E Cigarette and E Liquid from Totally Wicked link to their twitter feed is on the very bottom of the page.

On second thought..I'm such a noob you should ignore what I say and wait for someone who knows more than me to weigh in here

If you guys already have eGo-T's...just buy some atomizers and then you can drip and test taste your DIY juices.

$15 for a set of 5 atty's

No need for another kit.

Probably a dumb question, but a regular 510 atty will fit on the ego battery? Or do I need an adapter? So if I understand, i could get these atty's, (adapter), and a drip tip and be good? Thanks,

Brew

Ok, I see that it will work on the ego batteries, so I might just go with these and a drip tip. (sound good?)

i only have first hand experience with the 510 and KR808. But i have 3-piece and 2-piece parts for the 510. i've found that dripping to the 510 atomizer is remarkably easy, and that model is one of the few which are very well supported by many vendors. so the 510 would be my suggestion. you should be able to find a genuine Joye brand 510 kit pretty affordable.

you probably just need one or two attys, one or two batts, and one USB charger, as the absolute minimum for what you are describing. if you have ego batts already, you can use the 510 attys on them and really minimize your expense.

good luck with your DIY plans!

510 manual - it can use any standard resistance 510 or 306 atomizers. Only the manuals are sealed on the end of the battery. Battery life is short but there is also a 510 mega battery that is longer and 280mah vs 180mah for the short standard batteries. Or if you don't need it to be portable, you could get a 510 manual passthru for home use or Ego manual PT - I believe a passthru will require a 2amp-max AC to USB adapter.

An easy drip atty is the Ego mega cylinder. Without the cart in place, the opening is the same size as the Ego battery diameter. You can't miss with the large bridge. $12 at

Electronic Cigarettes, Eliquid by Awesome Vapor

It's called the "Monster Atty" but is a re-branded Joye product.

that's a good suggestion. that thing is like looking down a manhole
