Looking for a great menthol e-liquid analog

I've had my ego for a month and just finished my first bottle of juice that I purchased at the same time as a bought my Ego-C Twist in a local smoke shop near ASU in tempe, Arizona. The dude I bought it from told me I would quit smoking real cigarettes...skeptical as can be, I walked out thinking maybe he's right...and sure enough, now I love vaping... and am finding out how great the vaping community is!

The first liquid I had was 18mg menthol flavor by a company called "Shmookah Juice", which I liked, and now that that bottle is gone and cant find it in stores anymore...so I wasted $20 on 3 different e-liquids in the last few days and hate them all! I basically refuse to spend any more money until I can find out what are some great, reliable, menthol analogs. I want my vaping experience to closely resemble the real thing, since my vaping experience with these 3 new brands resemples chewing gum, which is not satisfying and tastes gross.

What I've found out today is that people on ECF are liking Dekang Nport and Halo Menthol ICE. Apparently Dekang Nport is analagous to a Newport, as the name implies. I don't know anything about Halo Menthol ICE but I see it talked about a lot when googling "best menthol e-liquid" and browsing replies on ECF.

Basically, I'm trying to find something that resembles a Camel Menthol wide menthol light, newport, or MM green box or MM black menthol, or anything along those lines that you guys could compare those cigarettes with. I want my vaping experience to be satisfying, and the menthol to not be a HUGE MINTY RUSH, like i've found from the various brands i've bought in stores last few days (VODA menthol sucks...its like hookah, not a cig).

Can you guys recommend some great e-liquids / juices that closely resemble the brands of cigarettes i've mentioned that have a good tobacco / menthol taste?

Hopefully you guys can help me find my perfect analog! I know its preference, but you guys can get me started with some great brands i hope

I'm happier with newport themed menthols, even though I never smoked new ports. If you want, I can PM you the place I get it from. So far, it's the best menthol I've tried.

I haven't had a menthol since i started smoking (10 years ago), but Mt. Baker's Hawk Sauce is a good one. It's not your typical menthol, and not the spearmint gum flavor either. Its one of their best sellers, so i gave it a try and liked it, however flavor is subjective!

+1 vote for hawk sauce. thug juice is ok too. ~17 year camel menthol, marlboro menthol, newport, etc... basically an anything menthol smoker. hawk sauce to me is like having smarties in your mouth while you are taking a drag of a menthol. thug juice is like taking a drag of a menthol after taking a sip of tropicana fruit juice.

Important note: You will never get the same flavor you are looking for "menthol tobacco" wise... ever. no matter what anyone says. The closest you will get will taste similar to a marlboro smooth. DIY may or may not get you closer.

the longer you stay off analogs... believe it or not your taste can, and usually does, change. Doing a forum or google search will give you many stories of many people searching for the same thing with the same results.

Come to think of it, i hear a lot of good things about mixing halo juices, for example

A ratio (to be determined) of, say, Halo Torque 56 + Halo menthol ICE = (good tobaco flavor + throat hit + menthol, i.e., a lighter, more eucalyptus like menthol hit, I don't want the horrible menthol overly-minty flavors people are not diggin', nor mint at all).

I'm very new to vaping and hear great things about Halo. Wonder if anyone could chime in and help me come up with something (some combination like mentioned above) for a great analog to the cigarettes I mentioned in my OP

It has WTA in it so it gives me a different feeling than my other eJuices I have tried so far, feels more like smoking a analog to me at least.

I will defer to your experience, but I don't see why with a NET / WTA eJuice you couldn't get pretty close in flavor. Nothing will match because we aren't involving combustion, but the one I posted above hits pretty close to the mark for me both in terms of flavor and feeling.

You can always buy menthol drops and add it to an existing tobacco eliquid if you find one you like.

For menthol I prefer medium strength:
