I've got my daughter interested in trying vaping. She's a current Newport smoker. I'm going to set her up with a kit out of my gear.

Can any former Newport smokers suggest a juice that has an equivalent flavor? Or something pretty close? I really want her to make the switch successfully. There are 4 kids that want her around for a LONG time (and her sisters & parents).

Thanks for any input!

I was a Newport smoker, and I definitely enjoyed V2's Menthol. Not sure if I'd say it tastes just like a Newport, but it hits and feels just like one, IMO.

It's a satisfying Menthol either way, and the best I've had out of 6 others Menthols.
They sell the juice, though my experience was with using the pre-filled carts. V2 is a little high in price compared to the other suggestions you are receiving, but I figured I'd throw my 2cent

I have let try three people I know that still smoke Kool, Pall Mall and Newport and they said that it was actually satisfying-they just don't care to quit.

I hope you find one that satisfies either way

Aroma E-Juice's Nuport or Menthol P-38 with WTA, aka the "Lightning Menthol".

I don't vape many menthols, but when I do, I vape the P-38- it's not too minty, too arctic, or too heavy on the tobacco- think balanced. Many of my relatives are partial to these blends, though I do custom mix blends for them to use with creme de menthe as adjunct flavorings. They seem to enjoy them quite a bit, because the tobacco is never overridden with the menthol or creme de menthe.

I have yet to taste NLV's Cold Creek, but there are many ex-menthol smokers who seem to prefer it over a great deal of menthol-containing blends. I will likely be experimenting on several of their other offerings with the use of some 10% menthol drops to see if I can make a good 'unique' blend, though.

NLV will be releasing Vapeport very soon. nobody has tried it yet, but judging on NLVs track record, its bound to be a winner.

It truly is an amazing flavor.

I'm not a menthol lover at all, and I even like this stuff.

NLV is a small company and right now the sales have increased exponentially, so the owner has to shut down ordering at times to catch up. If you keep up with this thread. .

You can keep updated as to when the site will reopen for orders. If you don't feel like wading through all the pages (we talk a lot) you can simply post a question and someone will answer it within a couple of minutes.

I'd suggest getting some other flavors to have one hand for her just in case. I've heard so many menthol smokers say they hate vaping menthol, and vice versa. In the beggining we all try to replicate our cigarette brand flavor with our juices, but thats a pretty hard task. She may find that she doesnt like the menthol tobacco juices, but maybe likes coffee flavors, or fruits, etc. So I'd recommend grabbing a couple small bottles of some other good flavors just in case. I know someone else mentioned getting menthol drops that you can add to any juice. I personally vape mostly fruit flavors now a days, which I get from Rawr...their fruity flavors are amazing. They are big on adding menthol to everything over there...so you have the option to add menthol to any of their flavors when you order them, or you can get their "Angel Tears" (their menthol drops) and add to any juice yourself.

I'd maybe get one or two of the Newport-like juices that were recommended, and then maybe a coffee/chocolatey type flavor, and a fruity flavor...this way if one doesnt work out, she can try the others and at least get a feel for what satisfies her (instead of lighting up again)

Good luck!

I am glad to find this, I am a loyal Halo user and was disappointed in my Menthol starter and the Malibu as well. Right now I only use Tikki Juice even though it isn't menthol it is very very tasty!

I think Daniele has made a good point though, I was unhappy with the two I tried and I am not really looking to vape menthol when you have such a wide variety of flavor options with an E cig.

Good point. I did everything I could to stay away from tobacco flavors while I transitioned to vaping. In any case, I have ordered a couple of menthols, and bottled up some samples from my "fruity" juice stash, plus a small sample of ArcticWolf (in case she needs that 'over the top' blast to the dome). :D

Great idea! I was actually going to mention Artic Wolf too...funny. Best of luck...keep us posted on how it works out!

The least expensive one to try would be the dekang nport. I didn't smoke newports on a regular basis, just once in a while. I found this one to be pretty good, but even better at a slightly higher voltage. You will never be able to replace the experience of smoking a regular ciggy, but I think the trick is to be able to find a juice that you find tasty. The other thing is the strength. As newport is full flavor, you may want to start high, say 24 mg strength. That will prevent nicotine withdrawal and lead to an easier time, imo!

Good Luck! Lots of good suggestions here...
