I like to vape @ 5.5-6 volts using a 3 ohm single coil cartomizer with 24mg nic. I have found so many juices out there that have great taste and vapor production, but am looking for something with a reckless throat hit as well. I am really liking the Honey Flu Cured from BWB, but need a change. I would love some suggestions.

Thanks, Trippers

Throat hit is 90% nicotine strength and warmth of the vapor. It seems like you have both of those covered with your nic strength and power level. Flavors make little difference.

True, for the most part—although certain strong menthols or cinnamon-based flavors bring a faux TH kick of their own to the table.

In any event, to my experience a very good, believable tobacco flavor comes together and fools the beast within. To a large extent, fooling yourself—or certain parts of yourself—is what this is all about

I like your term "faux TH". That's probably a good way to put it. It can provide a sensation but not the same as throat hit as we traditionally know it.

Additionally, throat hit can be amped with alcohol in the flavorings/juice. I have been making infusions and it can make a noticeable difference in throat hit.

There are quite a few of us vets who tried this several years ago and it did nothing for us, no difference at all. I would think everyone would be using that if it worked for many people.

For TH and for TH alone, I'd recommend FreedomSmokeUSA's American Spirit. I have about 5 ml of 24 mg left and just a drop or two into my carto gives me ridiculous throat hit. It doesn't have that much flavor, but it's got a nice spice and wicked throat hit--something you'd expect from a perique tobacco.

PGA does change the liquid. It can add a hint of TH, but most of the time it just makes the liquid a little spicier. I would recommend it if you have high VG juice that you want to try to amp up.
