Looking for a little bit of advice.

Hello, I am brand new to the rda circle and the guys at my local shop are only so helpful.

I had some help with my first build which was a dual coil zipper. It came in around .27 ohm and blew clouds like a champ, with what I felt was great flavor. I used it for the rest of the evening at home and took it to work the next day...I didn't plan for the higher wattage output due to the lower ohms and the battery was dead in 4 hours.

So...what I am hoping to find is advice regarding building a good coil for vapor production, flavor, AND battery life. I think it sounds like I am asking a lot but someone here I am sure has the perfect solution for my problem.

I have 24, 28, and 32 gauge Kanthal. I am not opposed to a more complicated build if need be but the easier to build the better for reproduction purposes.

Let me know what you think I should do and I will reply with the result.

Try a 28 core 32 single clapton. With kanthal there may be some ramp up but will produce great flavor and some plumes to go with it.

I really like the twisted coils, last night I twisted two strands of 32 together, than twisted that with a single 28, going to try building that tonight, I'll be curious to see the results!

I used Dual 26 gauge.

start with determining the battery life you want on the battery tab of steamengine.. Then take that OHM rate and wattage and design a coil or coils at that rate, on the coiling tab.

.8-1 ohm rating works great for me.
