i've been eyeballing the SP2 for awhile and before i pull the trigger on it i was just wondering if there was something better in a similar price range.

2xAA box mod from madvapes. DIY for $15 including batteries/charger. Easiest mod to do.
+1 on the Maxi Roughstack, that's what I've been vaping now for a month. Great battery life and all you have to do to go to 6v is get 2 extra batt's @ $4.29 a piece. For 3.7v you can get up to 3000mah batt's for 2 days on a charge. This thing is built like a tank. Drop it from 6 feet and it might scratch, but it'll work just fine.

+1 on the Madvapes boxmod. Nice little unit and assembled they're on sale for $19.99 right now, or a kit for $8.50. Add a pair of 14500 900mah batt's, a charger and an LR atty and you're gonna vape better than any eGo or Riva. Just don't drop it, they're made of plastic. It is a good starter mod and great for a backup too. You can get it with an 808 connector now too.
