I have had this one now for a few months and love it!
It is PURELY MECHANICAL with nothing to wear out or go bad. No switches. No wires. Nothing fancy, just a good, solid, hefty chrome tube and a spring-loaded bottom firing button. I pair it with an aClear nova knockoff tank and a 1.8 ohm head. Hits like a freight train. As an added plus, it's telescopic so it can run any 18 series battery (18350, 18500, 18650), flat top, button top- doesn't matter.
And, did I mention that it is gorgeous? The chrome capped aClear looks like it was made for it.
Best looking, most consistent performing mod I own.

What price range are you willing to pay.

What are your expectations for a mechanical mod?

What form factor are interested in? A tube shape or box mod? A bottom juice-feeding mod that allows for continuous dripping?

How long do you want the battery to last? The ones that hold the longer lasting batteries can be quite large devices; but a smaller mod that is more portable for out and about use and uses shorter lasting batteries that can be supplimented by carrying extra batteries.

Where do you want the fire button to be? On the side, top, or bottom?

There's just too many choices available to just give a blanket recommendation.

There are so may mechanical mods out there in so many price ranges that your question is nearly impossible to answer. How much are you looking to spend? What are you looking to get out of it? Do you want it right now, or are you willing to sit on a waiting list? What do you plan on using on it, or do you want a hybrid?

(and I'll keep my opinion about the looks of the Xcalibur to myself.)

Looking for a bottom firing button and not a telescoping mod and can handle a 18650 battery.

Tube shape

I use 18650 batteries.

At the bottom.

Thanks for the help.

I like the chi_you but its almost impossible to get one. I'm looking for a mechanical PV that isn't a telescoping mod. I use 18650 batteries and telescoping mods don't look good to me. I would like a firing button at the bottom. I use an AGA-T+ atomizer so I'm looking for a stainless steel or chrome PV. I'm sorry for not being more specific. I greatly appreciate all the help from everyone. Keep vaping!
