Generally, I find that desserts, fruits and teas start to lose flavor above 6 watts. Coffees and tobaccos hold flavor at 8 watts and above. In cooking anise, citrus zest, clove and cinnamon hold flavors at higher temps. I don't vape those flavors but expect that they would do well at higher power.
Yeah I'll be vaping Pink Starburst basically a strawberry flavor

I use an MVP 1.5 and Evods when out and about, very pocket friendly. With the ego connection on the evod, I don't worry about the connection snapping off. Never had a leak or problem with it. From what Pbussardo said on his site, Innokin said that only the first 200 units have the stiff button. I'll be ordering a 2.0 as soon as I can find one in stock.

If the Pink Starburst is a candy-based flavor it should hold up to higher temps.
Yeah its candy/fruity based flavor, what VV / VW setting would think to start with?

Yeah I just ordered it on Sunday, MBV is sold out now? I must of ordered one the few remaining ones
A vamo with a single 18350 batt is nice n small and works like a champ I got one and I love it and its fairly cheaper then a lot of mods, price and functionality wise its a thumbs up in my books.
I'll have to check it out

Most, if not all?, of the Chinese VV/VW mods can be run in 18350 mode but they are still a bit on the tall side due to the space the electronics need.

You might want to wait until you can take a look at the Innokin iTaste VTR. It should be out within the next two or three weeks. It's a bit over 1/2" wider than the MVP but has a juice cubbyhole which makes for a compact design and no more snapped 510-connectors.

Mute when watching. The music is bad and there is no narration.

Wow! That's interesting. Liked the MVP 2.0 but I like what looks like a lack of the charger port. Never saw the benefit (to me) of that feature. Like the small form factor and VW. Thanks for pointing it out

Stick with VW to start with because it does the oHms math to provide the same amount of power if you switch out your juice delivery device for one with different oHms. Start at 5.5 to 6 watts and dial up to find out what tastes best to you. Anything between no vapor and burnt juice is strictly whatever you prefer.

So by you saying stick to VW when I open it up out of the package and put my Protank on there. I should only be adjusting the watts and it will adjust my volts automatically?

That little chip reads the resistance of your atomizer and adjusts the voltage to give you your desired power.

Very clever, if you ask me. :)

Yes. Ir reads the resistance of your atomizer and adjusts the voltage to reach your preset wattage.

Sorry, I'm not Peraspera, but I happen to know the answer. :)

I'm looking for my first upgrade from Ego C and I think I've decided on the MVP 2. I can get the v1.0 for $20 cheaper but it seems like that might not be worth it, considering I'm looking at a good year+ of using the thing regularly.

Is there any reason to go with the Innokin Express - or any other unit in that price range - over the MVP 2.0?

I've gotten my MVP 2 and I use it daily and will not use anything else probably. It is literally everything I need in a tiny little box. It is also my first VV/VW device though, so I have not had experience with any other devices personally.

I have researched all week and I think I want to get the Innokin MVP 2.0 but watching the reviews and not many threads on here yet about it. I know it's pretty similar to the MVP 1.0 (minus ohm meter, VW, and other aesthetic things). My main concern is how stiff is that firing button on the 2.0. I know PBasardo did a a review and says that its about 2 lbs of pressure. But, is that really that much? In my head I'm thinking no but that's because I'm using mech mods where the bottom button needs to be pressed pretty firmly.

I have an MVP 2.0 and don't notice any difficulty using the fire button. It definitely requires a bit more pressure than my iTaste VV 3.0, but I can leave the MVP 2.0 powered on in my pocket without worry of it self-firing. With the VV 3.0 and its lighter button, I have to turn it off when it goes in my pocket or else I'll waste battery and get a warm leg.

To put things in perspective, a typical handgun has about an 8-10 pound trigger, and it is (obviously) actuated by your index finger. This is a fairly large amount of pressure (compare it to lifting a gallon of water, which weights about 8 pounds, with just your index finger), but it is a safety measure to help avoid negligent discharges.

Target pistols for competitive shooting may have a 2 pound trigger, and that is extremely light and easy to pull. Your thumb is stronger than your index finger, but the opposite motion of pulling a trigger versus pressing a button basically cancels that out.

My point is that unless you have severe arthritis, a 2-pound fire button should not be any problem whatsoever. You of course may prefer a slightly lighter press, but it's not like you are going to get tired or cramped up with a 2-pound button.
