I have been using an evod 2 for the last week and am already ready to upgrade, but can't decide what to go with. I have never tried anything else so I don't really have any preference over box or cylinder yet. I have been looking at the twist, mvp2, some other random ones, and since I am pretty good with electronics and a soldering iron, just building a DNA30. I am going to be putting a kayfun clone on it and eventually a dripper too. I am also looking to keep it as inexpensive as possible, but while still getting something decent.

I don't want anything too big. I need something that can easily go in a pocket.
I need either passthrough and/or replaceable batteries
Able to handle both a tank and a dripper well

Opinions???

Hana mini clone dna30, slightly modded for 18650 battery?! On fasttech for 56$. You cant build your own mod for that kind of money! Maybe mechanical mod (with 15W kick module) for subohm?

https://www.fasttech.com/forums/1723501/t/1312037/18650-modding

A mechanical with a kick will be my next MOD. Given the current political landscape, I think it will be harder to tax the crap out of re-chargeable batteries then vape designed batteries.

Good thinking! I started with ego and ce5, then svd and twist battery and now for quite some time i use only mechanicals. On two i do subohm for 20+W power and on nemesis i have kicked kayfun with 13.5 Watts. I wish for 25W kick module and thats all :) I dont need anything more powerful like 50w box mods etc... just more powerfull kick. I really hope that evolv didnt forget about us, mechanical users heheh

Well, scratch the Twist off of the list if you are going to be getting a Kayfun or RBA dripper - it won't have the amps required to use these and look extremely silly.

The MVP is probably the best bang for your buck, being full of features and incredible battery life. It can be used as a pass-thru. Up to 3 days on a charge. VV/VW with built-in voltage and resistance meter. Only downside is once the battery dies the entire device becomes a paperweight. But its inexpensive price makes up for that.

Advancing Up the Vaping Ladder with Mods

I have a MVP, but rarely use it any more. Its a personal preference thing really, as I prefer the tube-shaped mods over the box form factor. But its an excellent first mod fully capable of using an RBA between 1.2 - 2.0 ohms (perfect for a KFL).

I use a Kayfun Lite+ (@ 1.3 ohm) on both a Silver Bullet mechanical and Provari regulated mod. I also use a couple of rebuildable drip atomizers (@ 0.6 ohm) on my Silver Bullets.

Why Provari?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I had avoided even looking at fasttech because I have heard it takes forever to get anything them. Is that true? I am looking for something ASAP. That makes me lean more towards the MVP but it seems like a DNA30 is more versatile, but I would end up ordering the parts and building it myself to save money, but that also makes it longer until I would have it. I could have a MVP tonight. The local shop has one (at least on their website) for $70. From the little online shopping I have done it looks like most places have it for $60 +shipping so to me 70 from a local isn't too bad. Is that about the right prices?

The non replaceable battery in them and not being able to do anything below 1.4 ohm, and only 6-11 watts are making at least a little apprehensive though. With being a noob though, I really don't know if those things will actually end up mattering to me or not.

As long as you have a working mod, DON'T RUSH INTO ANYTHING. If you're looking for a good website in the US try 101vape.com , very reliable and fast shipping. You could also try kidneypuncher.com ( I like them because they are moderately priced and you can have them drill out your holes before they ship you an RBA). MVP 2 is great mod and I'd say a must have for any e-cig enthusiast. The only thing is if you're trying to get a dripper you need a mech mod (I'd go with nemesis clone, with 2 vct5 batteries).

All in all - I'd say go MVP 2 for now if that bores you at least you'll have a good backup mod

They say:
We only sell AUTHENTIC PRODUCTS!

But then:
- This product is NOT an ecig and is NOT related to it in any way.
- This product does NOT contain nicotine or tobacco.
- This is a 2600mAh battery used to charge USB devices on the go.

Its authentic. Seller wouldnt screw up his feedback with chinese ecig box mods lol

There are laws, what can you write and not when selling ecig stuff... Tobacoo/pharmacy companies are a big .....!

I understand that it's authentic. The problem is saying that it's not intended for vaping.

Of the +1000 people that bought that how many did it for the battery?

Ebay is "cracking down" on sellers selling e-cigarettes. That is probably why this seller has chosen to highlight this product as a battery to charge USB devises.

$40 shipped is a good price. I have seen this same price at 101vapes as well as on other reputable vendor sites.
