Looking for a new mod with some criteria.

Hey guys

I am looking for a mod with following specs:
- It should have space for two batteries (idk which ones are recommended atm).
- It should look nice with a Manta RTA or a VandyVape.
- It should be comfortable for normal sized hands and not too heavy (a rx 2/3 seems to be comfortable for me in size and weight).
- Would be nice if you could use it with 2 or optional 3 batteries (like the rx 2/3)

Now I will hear sb saying "Why dont you take the rx 2/3 then?".
Well 150W with 2 batteries is too weak for me and the rx 2/3 seems to get hot.
The gen3 is a good option but I dont need 3 batteries all the time.

Can u suggest some mods?

If 150w is too weak for you, maybe it's time to look at your build and make some tweaks there. That could open you up to a wider choice as far as mods.

What mod are you currently using where 150w is too weak? Are you sure it's even putting out a true 150w? Some mods are over rated, and will only output the full wattage depending on the resistance of the build. Most folks I know don't vape that high.

Have you looked at a DNA 250C device? I believe the Triad will be released soon.

The Sigelei Fuchai Duo will accommodate 2 or 3 cells (all 18650), and will allow for up to 30mm atomizer in either mode. In 2 battery mode, it'll run up to 175 watts... 250 watts with 3 cells.

Exactly what I was going to recommend. My wife has one and it fits her tiny hands just fine. It is comfortable in the hand and proven to be a reliable piece of equipment.

The DNA costs a lot of money tho. The Fuchai looks pretty nice.
As I said it would be nice to have the rx 2/3 feature but is not the no. 1 criteria.
Does somebody have a good experience with the Gen3 dual?

I dont tell that I need 150+ watts every time. I wanted one just to have the possibility to vape on 200 watts once for fun or sth else.
I am on an iStick Pico with a Melo 3. He gave me his one until I get my own device.

You know what... I made my mind up.
Just recommend me a good mod with 2 batteries and a good look.

What batteries were you using? Assuming that your mod can actually put out 150 watts, if you are using low amp batteries or over-rated re-wrap brands like AWT, Efest, Imren, MXJO, etc then you won't be getting your desired wattage level. Are You Using a Rewrap (Rebranded or Aftermarket) Battery?

A good 20 amp CDR battery will only be able to put out 60 watts; two only 120 watts. You'd need two good 30 watt batteries to put out 180 watts.

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, you're good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.

There's a lot of good 2-battery mods available.

I have a Segelei Fuschai 213 Plus, claims to be a 200 watt mod but likely only can put out 150W. The Geekvape Aegis Legend is a nearly indestructable 200W 2-battery mod. Aegis Legend Kit - Geekvape

Smoant Cylon is a winner. One of the best mods available in any price range.

If the gen3 appeals to you but want 2 batteries instead of 3. Perhaps the wismec rx gen3 dual might be for you. I got both they work well. Using the gen3 dual right now.

I got a Gen 3-300 watt. I like it. 6 months and zero issues thus far. Hope i did not make a mistake throwing that statement out into the universe.

I bought my gen3 about 7 or 8 months ago and it is still going strong too. I have not put as much use on it recently but it does still function as it did when I bought it. For a 3 battery mod, it is not as big as one would expect.

The lack of a screen saves on battery power. Using the regulated VV mode it encourages you to use your spidey senses to dial in a great vape, rather than worrying about numbers. Most of the values on a mod screen are useless anyway.
120 watts with two 20 amp batteries like the Samsung 25R, Samsung 30Q or LG HG2
150 watts with two 25 amp batteries like the Sony VTC5a or Samsung 24S

I have checked all of your products out and I am only going to buy a mod with 2x 18650s now. The RX 2/3 is okay but idk. Gen3 dual colours dont appeal to me.

I want a mod with 2x 18650 support, a bit of elegance and a good handling. Nothing else. It shouldnt look like a bunch of plastic.

My battery charger is only for two batteries. I dont wanna buy a new one for a gen3. I dont need 300 watts and such a long battery lifetime.
