Ahhh. Now I get your point. Maybe I wasn't precise enough. I didn't wamt to have sth. special. I wanted to have a "clean" mod. So the Smoant for example doesnt look good to me. It looks too crazy to me.There really isn't any other mod on the market like the double barrel, that I know of. It kind of filled a gap in the market that needed filling.
Simple and elegant designs are hard to come by in vaping. They are typically found in mechs, and the standard in regulated mods right now is flashy, shiny, and colorful. This is why I learned about mechs and started using them regularly.Ahhh. Now I get your point. Maybe I wasn't precise enough. I didn't wamt to have sth. special. I wanted to have a "clean" mod. Ok then. One last question then before I will end up here.Simple and elegant designs are hard to come by in vaping. They are typically found in mechs, and the standard in regulated mods right now is flashy, shiny, and colorful. This is why I learned about mechs and started using them regularly.
I hope you find what you are looking for, I have no other ideas to contribute.
I was wondering if I'd see it. I hesitated to recommend it as it's out of the mainstream; no TC, no flashy lights, it doesn't sing, nothing but vapor. Still, I have three of them, and I like them a lot.You are probably going to love the double barrel by squid industries then.
It doesn't have to be a tube mod. I don't use tube mods but run almost only mechs. A mechanical mod has no wires, computer chips, or anything like that. It has a mechanical switch that physically completes the circuit when the button is pushed, and holds a battery. That's about it. Simple and reliable (to the most part, they do require know how to be safe, and maintenance to keep it working good).Ok then. One last question then before I will end up here.
What is the definition of a mech? Is it this tube mod without display?
I think that I will use a gen3 dual as it is the most simple design I found on the market.
A mech mod doesn't have a board. A purist will tell you it doesn't even use wires. It's straight battery voltage to the atomizer, no way to adjust anything. Just battery (batteries), a switch and a 510 connector, and some sort of case to hold it all; which case usually also doubles as the return current path. Many are tubes, but they don't have to be. That also means you have to be (or become) a coil builder because there is no other way to adjust applied wattage other than changing the coil. They can be dangerous in inexperienced hands, and also note the "strength" of the vape will change (get weaker) as the battery discharges. I am a highly experienced mech user, and I love them, but I generally don't recommend them to people unless they enjoy the technical challenge of becoming a good coil builder or just like fiddling with things.Ok then. One last question then before I will end up here.

I have a lost vape paranormal 250c in pearl fish chopped carbon on gun metal. TC is probably the best you can get and it outputs 9v. You can also customize the interface any way you want from wallpapers to menu buttons and any readout you want, Escribe let's you make the menu exactly how you want it.Thank you guys!
And no. I am not such a fan of LEDs or design features.
TC is important for me. I mean, its a useful feature![]()
This mod costs a bunch of cash but is pretty nice tbh.I have a lost vape paranormal 250c in pearl fish chopped carbon on gun metal. TC is probably the best you can get and it outputs 9v. Well, you get what you pay for. And if anything happens you send it directly to lost vape and get it fixed or replaced. I think the chip alone goes for 60 70 on ebay. All my 50 to 60 dollar mods after 6 months either broke or have glitches or dont do tc very well. And you also get replay mode on the 250c.This mod costs a bunch of cash but is pretty nice tbh.
I've had a couple .mid price mods that performed well over time. Ipv4, sigelei fuchai 213.... The fire buttom on the ipv4 was sometimes not firing though after a year, and I just got tired of the fuchai because it didn't hit quite as hard or direct as some of my other mods. Still have both as backups though.Well, you get what you pay for. And if anything happens you send it directly to lost vape and get it fixed or replaced. Yep. I have a wismec rx200s that says its charging constantly and kills my batts in a day without being used. 2 sig 213's that have battery connectors coming off at the chip. A snow wolf that doesn't read anything on it anymore and a couple regulated tubes that have fire button issues. The only one that broke from me was a sig tc150 and I dropped it and the screen doesnt work. I have a couple sig spectrums for beaters that work fine i just ease the batteries in and dont just drop them in (that's what happened to the 213).I've had a couple .mid price mods that performed well over time. Yeah. These are nice mods. Clean and suitable for many RTAs in term of design. Well then. I will take a closer look at all of your devices and will tell you asap which device I finally bought. So let me get this straight.
No knobs... Just buttons.
Screen, but no LEDs.
TC and up over 150.
You like the RX2 form.
You want relative durability.
You want it to be cheap.
Smoant Battlestar
Asmodus Minikin v2
While you're at it, take a look at the Modefined Lyra.

Can't believe this is me saying this (not a DNA fanboy), but have used DNA 75C and 250C devices over the past 6 months and I agree. Buy once, cry once.Well, you get what you pay for. I recomend the DOVPO MVV. Two battery VV mod. Sturdy construction, nice etching on the front and back.Hey guys
I am looking for a mod with following specs:
- It should have space for two batteries (idk which ones are recommended atm).
- It should look nice with a Manta RTA or a VandyVape.
- It should be comfortable for normal sized hands and not too heavy (a rx 2/3 seems to be comfortable for me in size and weight).
- Would be nice if you could use it with 2 or optional 3 batteries (like the rx 2/3)
Now I will hear sb saying "Why dont you take the rx 2/3 then?".
Well 150W with 2 batteries is too weak for me and the rx 2/3 seems to get hot.
The gen3 is a good option but I dont need 3 batteries all the time.
Can u suggest some mods?
