Hi guys! Ordering a new mod/rda combo later this week & need some help picking something out. I already know i'm going to get an Anarchist mod, but need some help choosing the rda. I've kinda got it narrowed down to a Plume Veil, Stillare, TOBH or Magma, but i'm definitely open to suggestions. I want something with a good mix of flavor and vapor production. I know the Magma is supposed to be the best for flavor, and a Plume Veil for vapor, but how's the flavor? Is there something i haven't thought of that's kind of a happy medium? Any help would be greatly appreciated, there's just so many to pick from!

I just got my first RDA today, the Magma Clone by Paradigm.

I'm a complete noob to the RDA scene and did my homework reading everything I could find for the last 2 weeks.

I built my first coil and it worked! It worked great actually. I cannot believe how amazing RDA's are. I've always been a dripper and used the little Joye atomizers.

The Magma has not leaked, seems very well put together but then again it's my first and I know nothing. It was very easy to build on and holds a ton of juice.

I have it on a Orbit Box Mod with the DNA 30 chip (I think thats how I'm supposed to say it).

Anyhow I have a 1.2ohm single coil vaping at 11.00 watts. The flavor is out of this world for me. The vapor production is superb in my noob opinion. I'm not a "cloud chaser" but it's plenty for me. The draw is light and airy and I'm just loving it. I'm going to do some sub ohm builds as well as dual coil builds soon but am extremely happy with what I'm using now. I wish I had found out about this sooner.

My vaping life has changed.

The only downside to the Plume Veil is that it is kinda leaky from the air holes in the negative posts. The flavour and vapour production make up for it, IMO, but this may be a turn off for you. The 454 Big Block has a huge juice well and is a beast in quad coil mode, but can be overpowering and is difficult to build on.

Only reason my plume veil will leak at all is if I fill it up and then leave it tilted.

I dont know why I would fill it and not vape it, so it isnt an issue.

The only thing the Plume Veil significantly lacks compared to other drippers is liquid capacity. I would also say it isnt ideal if you dont like a loose draw, as there is hardly any adjustment to be made in the draw. But if you like tight draws you probably arent looking for clouds either in which case the Plume Veil just does not make sense for you.

454 is close over all, and despite having higher liquid capacity I find myself favoring the plume veil.

I still feel the magma is the flavor king. Not by a huge margin mind you.

I'm not worried about the leaking, my mech mods and drippers never leave the house. And I do like a more airy draw. Does the plume veil have adjustable air flow? Or is it just wide open all the time? And I would actually rather have a more shallow juice well because I tend to re wick and change flavors a lot. My wicking material is organic Hawaiian cotton from Veejay Vapes.
