Looking for a new strawberry flavor

My ADV is a peach, pear strawberry, and it's yummy. But the strawberry gets lost behind the other flavors, and seems to fade before the others are steeped in. That's why I'm looking to begin with. I'd also like to do some strawberry desserts, but haven't tried it because I can't find the right strawberry.

Which peach do you use? I haven't tried a pear yet (it's in the mail!)

I use TFA Juicy Peach. It's a pretty realistic fruit flavor, but it's really strong. Like 1 drop per ml strong. It's a lil pungent right after you mix it, but mellows after about 2 days. TFA Pear too. Also pungent at first.

I can't do LA's flavors. Too much food coloring. I gunks up coils WAY too fast.

I notice I also get a bitter aftertaste with the LA above 5%, anyone else ?

I will keep that in mind since it's the TFA pear I have coming in the mail...hopefully it'll get here today!

The pear isn't so great on it's own, but mixes well. One of my faves is a honeydew/pear. Equal parts. Add a lil strawberry if you like. The honeydew is another potent one as well. Don't get that one on your shirt. Lol! You will smell like a melon all day.

I have all the melons coming in the mail too so that I can try to duplicate my favorite ADV flavor...Going to add this to my next DIY session though as it sounds yummy!

The watermelon is good mixed with strawberry. Watermelon jolly rancher kinda flavor, but not as sweet.

I'm puffing on ripe banana right now. Just mixed it Tuesday. Not sure if it needs more time or what. It's a fairly authentic flavor, but not very sweet. Got some pina colada steeping. Made some peppermint and it's tasting good. Haven't tried the blueberry yet, but it smells awesome. I need some more lil tester attys. Lol!

I like the watermelon mixed with strawberry...I was smart enough to order watermelon my first go round...just forgot cantaloupe and honeydew melon. I've done the ripe banana before and had to add just a tiny bit of marshmallow to it to get the sweetness I was after..and it seemed to up the banana flavor a bit.

And I need tester attys period! I was thinking about that yesterday when I was filling yet another tank to try one of my mixes that's been steeping. Do you have any recommendations for tester attys?

I went to the B&M looking for a 510 dripper kinda thing, but no joy. They gave me a 16mm trident for free. It sucks, but works ok. I've got a couple of drippers that I rigged out single coil @ 1.5mm. Works ok. Been trying to find something better. I think a 510 bridgeless atty would work, but haven't gotten around to ordering any.

I use a Scar RDA to test. Small with a tight draw, great for flavor. Easy to build on (even for me as a beginner), and it's dirt cheap everywhere.
