Hi, I'm looking for a change...I've been vaping with the joye ego c for years & have been satisfied with it. What I like the most is not having to mess with cartomizers & only having to change the heads. I also like the twist voltage. Anyone know of anything comparable to this that would be worth the investment? Thanks...

I vaped the Joye eGo-c for years as well. It takes some work and tips gotten here to make it work well without leaks, etc. And I eventually, thanks to people here, went to the Kanger clearomizers and the difference in maintenance and fuss is great vs. the eGo-c atty/tank system. I tried all starting with Vision stardusts (top coils) then Kanger top coils T2, T3, Evod, protank, T3S and the newer dual coils, and settled with the bottom coil T3S - the coil replacement is cheap and I get the best draw and no leaks with the T3S vs. say, protanks. I also like the bigger capacity 3ml and the visual on the eliquid level vs. the evod 1.6ml capacity plus the slits you have to look through for eliquid level.

As far as batts go, I have had Twists but the flavors I vape, vape well at the constant mode on the Joye eGo-c upgrade batts - 3.4V with the 1.8 ohm coils in the T3S for stronger flavors and the 2.2ohm coils for the lighter ones. So I never use a Twist over 3.7 Volts anyway (except for my espresso vape - which right now I'm using the itaste vv v3)... unless I'm trying to 'wet burn' to clean a coil

Ego C Type A or B SR/LR Atty??

I have found no comparable to the Ego C LR Atty and i have tried all different kinds of setups. All the Clearomizers , well most new ones anyways with their dual coil set up provide too much vapor/too fast for me. Even the older single coil ones produce warm , full flavors that i'm not used to or a big fan of.

Let me know if you find something similiar or i would like to test out something comparable too. To in the meantime i'm sticking with my little guy

so far in my tank endevours, im torn between a T2(top coil, but sooo much flavor and heat) and my t3s(bottom coil with a long metal chimney, slightly muted flavor but smooth draw and minimal heat.

i like the smoothness of the t3s but flavor is only good when rewicked with cotton... and cotton is my worst nemisis - always fighting.

id still use my t2, but the coils have gotten expensive.... they used to be 1$ a peice and have reached where i have seen up to 2.25$ a single coil head!

I'm really enjoying the setup I have now. I'm sure something else will once again catch my attention. But for now I'm alternating between two ego-c Twist batteries with a Kanger Protank 3 v2. Good vapor and I love alternating between 4w and 4.5w. Lower in the morning for a softer hit and stronger in the afternoon.

My next battery purchase will likely be the itaste vv v3. Basically, because it's small but I think I'll be happy with something that doesn't roll around.

I can't commit to any particular tank but the T3D and T3 mini are both pretty cool and very workable as far as my experience goes. Neither are exotic at all but I don't see people pushing them. . . probably overlooked because they're so similar to such a standard. The mini is hotter because it's a shorter distance I suppose. I don't notice much of a difference, honestly. The T3D is pyrex but it uses a different coil than the other T3's. So far I've used the T3D to burn through some juices I'm not too hot on so I have an unnatural bias against it but it's the simplest pyrex design I've come across and that really appeals to me. I just wish it used the same single coil heads that I normally travel with. (Hear that, Kanger! I'm talkin' to you! I'd actually be super stoked with a pyrex T3 mini. . . )

Edit: Apparently, the T3D's are not pyrex but a quick Google search will reveal several retailers advertising them as such (including one often noted as being quite reputable.) I emptied my only model to get a good tap test and it does indeed sound plastic. Unfortunely (or not. . . ), I purchased mine from a more reputable vendor that does not misadvertise their product as pyrex, so I guess I can't really complain.

T3S and T3D are not pyrex. You have to go to the Protank mini or Evod 'Glass' to get pyrex in single coil.

When it comes to flavor and vapor production I'm really hard pressed to try and talk someone out of an eGo C setup for the sake of a Kanger. I know the eGo C can be a bit fussy when it comes to keeping it from leaking, but compared to a BCC the end result just seems to much better.

If you are gonna go there though, just make sure you get a glass tank clearo like a ProTank so you can skip the whole matter of which flavorings can crack/melt/distort plastic tank clearos.

Certainly the T3 isn't but I was pretty sure I was sold the T3D solely on the basis of it being pyrex. Maybe I don't recall correctly. Now I'm gonna keep tapping at this thing to see until it breaks. Oh well. . . I won't be heart-broken. . . And I'll still wish there were more options.

I actually prefer the T3/T3S over the protanks. And my flavors don't affect the plastic. Some do though - strong menthol, any 'atomic' flavors and some hot cinnamons.
