Good evening ladies and gents! I have cuboid setup with a u well crown tank. I love it!! I'd like to try a tank where I can run higher coils like 1.2 and up? Is there a tank that allows you to run different coils in the higher numbers and is best? I've heard nautilus tank or sub tank? Which is best doesn't have to be any of the two i just mentioned either! For example I can run a .25 or .5 or in coil in my crown. Not sure of the size up for coils but I'd like to be able to try 1.2 and up coil set ups. Also what wattage such these coils be set at? Also do you guys Vap at a set wattage all the time ? I've been running the .25 the last few days and will go from 55-80 during a tank. I don't think I have yet to consume a full tank at just one wattage. Lol is this normal? Thanks for all the help and sorry for the newbie questions :)

I like the aspire triton I bought my dad. It has a pleasant vape and coils are not too expensive.
1+ ohm coils usually don't require much more than 12-15w to perform decently. Some can handle a bit more but rarely do you see anyone vaping a 1.5 ohm single coil at 30w.

Yes its perfectly normal to play with the wattage. Its all about taste and preference which might even vary throughout the day. If you stick to one tank and type of coil, it will get less. If you like me, changing tanks and drippers all day, you'll be adjusting a lot too. It will get less over time as you learn the sweet spot of each by heart.

Watch out buying tanks for Cuboid. Some tanks need spacers and my TFV4 won't even work on it. Some of my tanks need a spacer between tank and mod or it shorts out. My TFV4 wont even screw down enough to connect. Cubis works well on the Cuboid and I vape it at 42.5 watts. But I rebuild the stock coils and wick with organic cotton. But almost all my mods have tanks that just match up and work better on some mods than on others. CHEERS!

I vape the same flavor, same coil, same tank everyday and still adjust my wattage frequently. Remember to up your nic level when going to higher ohm, if needed still - ( you've been vaping a long time now?)
Good morning! Thanks for the reply! I been vaping three weeks now and am going between the .25 coil between 50-80 watts and I also am using .5 coil I digit what I rant that at lol. Why do I need to up my nic level going higher ohm? Also someone told me not to go to high in watts as if it gets to hit it can turn the juice to a dangerous chemical??

The Kanger Subtank/Toptank is pretty versatile, with subohm and +ohm coils available. If you want a tank just for high ohm work, the Nautilus.

The eLeaf GS tank family has +ohm coils as well as subohm. Ditto the Innokin iSub S.
Hey ! Ok so the Eleaf and innokin I sub I could Vap at high and low ohm coils? Which one is better?

I'll second the Aspire Triton. It's basically like a Nautilus on steroids. It's a good mouth to lung or direct lung tank with coil resistances as high as 1.8ohm and as low as .3ohms. It can also take the ceramic cCell coils as well. Maybe not the best cloud producing subohm tank on the market, but probably the most versatile tank and has excellent flavor.

No such thing as better or worse, it's about what you like best. I would go with the iSub S over the eLeaf part because I think Innokin a better brand. As @Completely Average observes, the Aspire Triton merits a look as well.

Odd ... Have tfv4 and cuboid and few people around me as well. No issues heard or seen so far.

Tfv4 does indeed has a fairly long 510 connector as compared to most other tanks. Long lead to the threads, lots of threads and a generous non adjustable positive. Need quite a few turns to get it screwed all the way down.

I have another 6 tanks and various drippers on the cuboid, non caused concern.

Where do you store all your tanks? Do they sell cases for them? Also can you put a tank a side that you don't plan on using for a while with juice in it or do u need to empty it first?

Do you need to clean your tanks every so often? If so how so? And what do u use to clean it and how often?

I build my coils, I don't use prefab tanks. I find I rewick a tank far more often than I rebuild it. The wick gets nappy and doesn't transport juice as well after 100ml or so of juice, but a coil might last for months. I almost never actually break or wear one out. I usually wind up re-coiling because I got bored with the old one, or I want to try something new, or I am putting the tank to a different purpose. In any event, when it is time to rewick, I disassemble the tank, pull the old wick, dry burn the coil to get the gunk off, then wash all the parts in hot, soapy water before rewicking and reassembly. That isn't going to work for you, using prefab coils. In your case, I would disassemble the tank, soak the coil overnight in pure grain alcohol or high proof vodka, then rinse well in hot water and allow to dry completely before reuse. The rest of the tank can be washed in hot soapy water. You can do that on any schedule you find pleasing. I'd say no oftener than weekly, nor more seldom than monthly. Every time you change coils would do. Then you can put in the new coil immediately and take your sweet time to soak the old one to see if you can revive it.

Thanks for the reply man!! You're so helpful!! So you don't replace your coils at all just wash them? What if i actually replace the coil and put a new one in do I still need to re wick the tank no right? Just like u mentioned wash it in hot soapy water?

No, you only do that with RTAs where you build your own coils. In a prefab coil tank, like the ones you're talking about, you just replace the whole assembly, which contains both coil and wick. Some of them can be rewicked so the coil itself can be reused, but I don't know anything about that. And yes, you can wash the tank parts. A kitchen strainer can be handy so you don't lose any down the drain. The only thing you don't want to do is get the coil wick wet with water. This can prevent it from wicking juice. The rest of the tank, no problem. Just dry it before reassembly and you're good to go.

The Aspire Triton is stellar in any configuration. Multiple coil choices from .3 to 1.8. Had mine the other day with a 1.8 and smaller ID drip tip mouth to lunging and a freind gave me a gClapton .3 coil to try. So I put the standard drip tip on after coil installed and chucked a few clouds.

I noticed when my .25 coil was newer if get more puffs per tank. I'd get 263 puffs per tank on average now I'm only getting 175

Honestly, I'm quite bad with my stuff. I think I simply have too much as they come so cheap or at least most of them. (thank god for the Chinese)
Some wonder around on the living room table (my recent favs), some end up in a drawer, have one or two in the pockets of my coats, prob there's one or two in my desk drawer at work and I might find one back if I open up my suitcase (travel quite frequently).
Most of them behave well, lying on their sides for longer periods of times. However, from time to time I might find one back in a puddle of juice (juch) cause my last build wasn't that great or it's just a crap tank.
If I did not use them for longer periods of time, I take m apart and drop in the ultra sonic cleaner for a good long bath and put them away.

Just some hand warm water will do. Take it apart as far as you can, flush all, rub and scrub a little and wipe dry with some clean cloth or tissues. No need to overdo it... If you are lazy like me, invest 20$ in an ultra sonic cleaner and give m a spin in that.
How often depends on your level of cleanliness. Some do it weekly, others can't be bothered at all. If you change liquids it might be nice to give m a rinse.
