Happy New Year Everyone,

I am looking for a new device to replace my ego style batts. I use the ego form factor at work while at home and sitting around I use my VAMO.

I have ego-t, 1300mAh spinner and others.

What I am looking for is a VV device with replaceable batteries and the same size/form factor as the ego's. I will be using Kanter T3s on them or a Mini Nova. I "think" a 14500 battery is the size. With so many new devices coming on the market I can not keep up with the latest and greatest.

Looking for suggestions.

Thanks

The Joker Edge This is the Mod for you. Same size as what you've been using. Very reliable. Easy to use and reasonably priced with the sale. Its light and pocket friendly. I have one and use it on a regular basis.

Its not the latest or the greatest but an unsung clasic thats stood the test of time and proven its self.

There is the iPro from notcigs, it uses stacked 14430 batts. I've had one for over a year, I like it. :)

The Joker Edge uses 16xxx size batteries which are larger in diameter than the 14xxx so it would be a larger mod than you are looking for.

I'm waiting for a decently priced Variable Wattage mod to come out.

Vision has a VV in both the Twist and LCD mods for around $25 - $30 and use the eGo form factor, so all the atomizers, ect., you mentioned will fit. The batteries are not replaceable, but the Twist comes with a 1300mA battery and the LCD model is 650mA.

Now, if they'll just come out with a VW I'll get a couple.

I was looking for something using the 14xxx batteries too to keep the diameter of the battery down, but all the 14xxx batteries I've found are usually less than 900mA. For $25 a disposable VV or VW battery around 1300mA isn't too bad if you want to keep the diameter down to eGo size.

Anyway, I'll still wait for a VW even if it is disposable.

You might try a L-Rider Robust.

Rider Robust VV Device - Black [700_Black] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

It works well as long as you stay over 2.0 ohm on the T3 and Nova and use good batteries (aw or efest).
It's almost the exact same size as a Spinner 1300 and the T3 and Nova look good on it. The T3 requires a 510 to ego adaptor.

Just remember the 14500 batteries are only ~700 mah so you need to carry spares.

The Joker uses 16340 witch are bigger than 14 but quite a bit smaller than the 18xxxx most are use to. The OP was asking for replaceable battery mods not throwaways. The Joker is very close in Dia to the 14500 lavatubes and way superior quality, performance, and durability and the best part its made in USA so you have builder support!

I went from the eGo to Provar mini. It is heftier than an eGo with more girth but about the same length, it fits in a shirt pocket but you feel it. Almost indestructible, a bit pricey but a good value. Great service warranty, made in the USA. The onlything about it you might not like at first is the heft. It is not stealthy.

The "heft" is what I am trying to do away with. The VAMO with the 18350 batt is similar to the Provari in size etc and I can always fall back to that form or if I drop the 14500 size and stick with the 18650 and no VV I can always go with an eGo-T Mod (tubes are available for the shorter look).

I may have to just stick with a few "disposable" twist/spinners, at least I am in no rush.

thanks all
