510 manuals and 510 mega xl manuals - check Liberty-Flights.com, Cignot,com, LiteCigUSA.net

Ego is 650-1100mah charge length

510 manual is 180mah
510 mega xl manual is 280mah (and about 128mm w/ a Boge carto)

Note!!!
you cannot charge slim 510 batteries on an Ego charger cable - it can damage the batteries
you cannot use LR attys or LR cartos on a slim batteries - they can damage the batteries

Unlike devices like cell phones or ipods, PVs have a problem that there's no way to address with engineering. That is that it takes a specific amount of energy to vaporize a specific amount of juice. With today's battery technology, you can only cram so much energy into those small batteries. So, you can't get a small battery with a long life. There will have to be a technological change in batteries or juice or possibly juice delivery to make that possible. I don't see that happening for a while.

I have 2 ego replacement batts from smok tech, and a bunch if 510 carts but the batts are rather large. I am looking for a decent 510 or similar manual batt something smaller but keeps a charge....opinions, options??

I got one at Rocky Mountain Vapor. Batteries definitely don't last as long as ego batteries, that's just the nature of the smaller pvs. But it's a great pv if you get extra batteries or a pcc. I actually don't see much difference from my ego regarding the way it vapes. Flavor is the same, etc.

edit: Dormouse is right. You can't use the ego charger, and I don't think you can use the lr cartomizers.

You can get some inexpensive 510 batteries and a 510 charger at ValueVapor. I rarely use mine anymore, but when I did, I'd keep at least five batteries, and got myself the 5 battery charger from totally wicked, to keep them all juiced up and ready to go. If you go to a 510, an on the go personal charging case is a must if you don't want to run out of power on the go. Much as I liked the 510, and its slim sleek look, the quick battery drain was a drag.
