i was looking into mods that take the imr batteries. i dont own any mod that does and thought id try it out.

i was taking a look at the iTaste SVD and im not sure about it. i also looked at the 20w and 30w sigelei but i heard there was some issues with them devices.

You said "don't say the MVP" ..... Is there something you dislike about the iTaste MVP ?

Well.....what is it you want to do? Does it have to be tubular? Can it be a 26650 device? Does it need to go above 11 watts? Are you OK with Pulse Width Modulated devices or does it have to be a flat signal? Do you want Variable Wattage, Voltage or both? Does it need to have a great warranty? Do you build your own coils? What kind of devices are you looking to put on it? Does appearance matter?

Have you looked into the Segelie 20w?

It goes up to twenty watts and is about 120 depending where you get it.

Yup i mentioned it in my post. I been hearing bad reviews and good reviews about it so idk. People say it stops working with the batteries or it doesn't work right

You don't know the wattage unless you know exactly what voltage the battery is putting out and what the voltage drop of the battery/devices is. I suggest you just skip over posts that suggest getting a Mech Mod. In my honest opinion they are becoming a Thing of the Past with the advent of higher wattage regulated devices. Kind of like the dinosaur.

That all depends on what you want to do with it.

It is my opinion unless you plan on using a rebuildable atomizer, like a Kayfun or one of the many dripping atties, and you are going to build Sub-Ohm coils, coils below 1 ohm, all these higher wattage devices don't do much more than most of the other devices on the market.

My personal suggestion is a Provari. It can go to 15 watts, although it is a variable voltage only device, and you can use as low as a 1.2+/- ohm coil with it. Rock solid build and constant voltage output with a flat DC signal.

Again like I said in my first reply to you. It all depends on what the MORE is you want to do with it.

If you really want a high wattage output device, for whatever reason, then look at a real Evolv DNA 30 device. The only one I know of in a Tube is the Wizard's Apprentice Evolved II. But they are expensive.

Personally I am very happy with my Provari with Kayfun running a 1.4 ohm coil using a voltage between 3.4 to 3.8 volts.

Unregulated voltage based on the battery.
Most of the more efficient mechs will start you around circa 4v and drop from there down to the mid 3v range and then it is time for a charge. The benefit is they are as simple and reliable as they get and will fire any coil of any resistance.
They require some basic understanding of ohms law and battery handling to be used safely.

Capability wise, yes.
In terms of durability and simplicity they will forever be without equal.
Some also really appreciate the relatively simple form factor as well, as evidenced by all the cat bagging mod collectors.

I recently switched over to using a Dna30w as my daily driver, and would love to get my hands on an IPV 100w or similar, but my humble mech squad isnt going anywhere.

Every serious vapor should have at least 1 mech in their arsenal.

I don't know anything about it except what I saw in a review of it @ Pbusardo's youtube channel.

It is out of my price range and I have no need or desire for a 30w device.
