i have both the VTR and SVD. i was thinking about posting them both for sale in the classifieds soon so shoot me a PM if you're interested and ill post them and let you take a look at them. i absolutely love them both. they are pretty much the same exact device just one is a tube and one is a box. they are both well machined and reliable though. just not my style of vaping anymore

Still not many suggestions here lol

Sent from my Encore using Tapatalk

The reasons there aren't many suggestion is because the vaping world seems to be into Box Mods which it seems you don't like, I don't either.

And for the simple fact all of them do basically the same exact thing. Supply electricity to a liquid atomizing device. After that it is all personal opinion.

I am done with buying anything other than liquid. I have all the battery devices I could ever need or use. I have a plethora of atomizers and a cabinet full of juice. So when the liquid starts to run out I'll buy more of that.

I started this to get away from smoking cigarettes. I have done that. I bought different devices looking for something better. The simple fact is if the battery device supplies electricity to the atomizer they are all the same. Some do it slightly differently that others. Some do it slightly better than others but in the end they are all the same.

You don't want an e-lvt - but actually you do. Imagine a Vamo that you can put in your shirt pocket without looking like you have a bratwurst in there. Give it a try. The MVP v2 is also great. Like tubes? Why? They're long and they fall over! :)

Having said that I love my Vamos...ymmv...:)

e-lvt that thing looks think and rugged lol. i like tubes because i like how they look with the tanks. unlike box mods they look odd.

Shootis i just seen a review for the wizard what ever u call it. seems cool but in the vid the person said he had battery issues.
I haven't had any issues, battery or otherwise, with my WAE II. What issues did the reviewer have?

If you like tube mods, NexGen is going to have some Futura DNA 30s for sale in a couple of weeks, with a new version coming out about a month after that.

I have a Sigelei 20w. It's built like a tank and works fine for what it is. I can fire anything down to about .6 Ohms with it. My biggest complaint is that it can't regulate voltage below the current battery level (none of the 20w-30w chips can right now, AFAIK). My only other complaints are relative nits, like the dim OLED display, and no wattage memory/pre-sets.

Of course, the 30w version is the same price or cheaper (app. $80), so if you want a vw regulated tube mod TODAY, you could get that.

If it were me, though, I'd wait a couple of weeks for a mod with the new SX350 chip (if they aren't out already).

Also, having picked up a full-size regulated tube, I think I'm sold on box mods for 18650-26650 batteries. Topped with a Kayfun, the thing feels and handles like a lightsaber, and looks kinda ridiculous (IMO). And it tips over easily.

Next regulated mod will be a box style, for sure. :)

You could always get a mech with a evol kick2. My first mech was too strong for my kayfun but with the kick in there it's golden.

But I use a Cana dna30 as a daily vape at work. But when I'm home I'm using a mech with no kick....dripping like a boss. Mechs won't go anywhere....the quality of vape is unbeatable....imho

True, you're not getting many suggestions because box mods are totally hot right now. I was against box mods for a long time too, so I understand where you're coming from.

however, I LOVED LOVED LOVED my Vamo v5 until it went missing. but in all honestly, the v5 is a little dated, and is well under your max budget.

I have seen the SIGELEI 30W online for under $100 , it's much like the SIGELEI 20W... except ya know 30 Watts.

I have no first hand experience with it (yet) but it looks promising [even with that weird gyro-sensor control thing] and I will probably pick one up next month to replace my Vamo V5.

there is also the new eVic Supreme which looks, over the top, but still kinda cool.

There are some other options too that I can't think of off the top of my head, but seriously, other than being tube shaped, what other requirements do you have?

Sigelei Zmax V5.

-VV/VW. 3-6volts or 3-15 watts.
-Telescopic tube mod uses 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650 or 2x18350 high drain IMR or hybrid batteries.
-Built like a tank
-Shorter than Vamo or SVD
-One piece stainless steel 510/eGo connector will not wear out
-OLED display
-One button menu
-Removable top cap
-cell phone charger

Everything you want to know about this rig is here. V5 has a few extra features than the lower priced V3. Both perform the same. You can get these online for $40-$47 (body only) from US vendors.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...igelei-zmax-v3-v5-telescopic-users-group.html

I have three of these Sigeleis. Left: Two month-old V5 fitted with 1100mAh 18500. Center: 15 month-old first generation V3 fitted for 18350 with tall battery cap. It still works fine. Right: Second generation V3 fitted with short battery cap for 18350. All are the standard brushed stainless steel finish.

How do you like the controls on the Segilie 20? It has the tilt to adjust controls, no?

They seem very cool, but how is the practical application?

Me i think thats annoying lol

Well I actually meant, the guy who has one. but that's good to know, we'll take that off the table as a possibility.

BTW, @PinkFloydFan, you never answered my other question: What are you real requirements other than it be a tube mod?

It dosent have to be a real high watt mod under 20 is fine. But id like it to be vw vv kind of mod. Also telescope would be nice and handy.

does it need to be actual telescope? or just changeable to fit 18350/184500/18650? Are you going to be changing between 350's and 650's throughout the day?

Because my issue with telescoping mods, is that the bottom part always wiggles on the thread, where as like my Vamo, when I needed it to be in 18350 mode, i just pulled the extra bit of tube and everything fit snug. no wiggle. compared to my k100 which has a slight wiggle to it because it's a telescopic mod.

call me finicky but I like my mods to feel secured-- a little wiggle makes me anxious.

that being said: let's now address the rest of your post: if you all you want is a nice step up from your itaste v3 why not just get a Vamo v5 for $40 shipped and spend the rest of that money on some attys?

If the Vamo v5 is too low end for you, maybe a futura DNA30? although that isn't telescoping.

Then don't use Flat Top batteries. Use Button Top. Since you don't already own any replaceable battery mod that shouldn't be a problem. Simply don't buy Flat Top batteries.

That is easy to say, but there are far more flat tops available that are more mod appropriate than button top.
If you want top quality in button top you are pretty much limited to AW and a handful of eFests.
