Unfortunately it's not available yet but later in the year Great Lakes Vapor will be releasing the 3.7v (1x18650 battery) and the special-order only GLV-XL 5v (2x18650 batteries).

GLV-XL

Oh well that sucks.

(Oooops, edit. Thought you were referring another post, didn't see the link, sorry all.)

Hi folks, I'm about 3 months into vaping at this point. I've used the penstyle, riva/ego varieties and have also put together a 5v box mod. I've been looking into tube mods lately and am curious what suggestions you folks would consider your favorite in the category. I've been mainly looking at the 18650 varieties and interested in trying out a stacked 4.8v NiMH with it.

There can be only one - GGTS, but thats only my opinion - mulitiple battery configurations and adjustable draw also. All mechanical

I don't know how much you are wanting to spend on a tube mod, but I would recommend a VV. I know there are some that are cheaper, but for the money, the provari is a really easy-to-use and very durable mode. With the entension cap the use the 18650 batteries. I main reason I recommend a VV is the fact that you can dial in your sweet spot with just about any atty/carto and juice.

Hi! Newbie here... Here's my "sort of" mod...

PENTEL PEN VAPER!!!

My eGo battery's thread got damaged (and only after 1 week of use) and now the atty won't screw on. It keeps losing contact. I needed to find a way to make the atty come in contact with the batt so I made this:

eGo_Pentel01.jpg

The screw-on part on top pushes the atomizer down into the battery's contact leads while the pen cap at the bottom (with some tape inside) pushes the battery upwards. I can still charge via USB by removing the pen cap at the bottom.
