The best item i bought was a "DCA" and a "Cisco 306 atomizer". When driving and can not drip I like the Bottom coil protank. As far as devices the Vamo 1st edition with stacked 18350 batteries gives me the best vape of all the apvs and ego batteries i bought. The new innokin MVP ver.2 is showing promise as well. In this day and age why not go with VW and onboard ohm adjustment. just my opinion after starting with an overpriced blu setup.

Hey there DebbM,
What part of your vape experience do you fell needs improving?
Flavor, vapor, ease of use....
I was content with the way my PV set up was, then found that the WOW factor came back to life with the addition of eGo VV batteries.
I am sure there will be further upgrades, (I hope) just have to get the credit card back from my better half.

I am all so at that cross road and I'm thinking more expensive devices as I keep spending more I do find I am enjoying vaping more and mor now I'm looking into life time type equitment such as gg offers and wondering should I just go for broke no matter what the wife thinks ... ha ha

I keep trying to tell myself the following (Doesn't usually work on me, I hope it does for you!)

1. This stuff will still be around forever.
2. It will only get better as time goes on.
3. The really good products will become more obvious, and the crap ones will go out of business.

That's the "Wait" part.

Here's the "Go" Part:
1. There's so much incredibly cool stuff out there that I gotta try!!!!!
2, Cigarettes (at least here, >$10 per pack) are so damned expensive that I can spend a lot on vaping, and if it half-works, it's still a win.
3. Life is short, do what makes you happy!!

I would suggest that you experiment regulating wattage / voltage with each of your different tank set ups.

Also if your rebuilding the coils and wicks you can experiment with different wick material. Cotton balls twisted to wick diameter. Butchers twine ( cotton ) . Cotton yarn. As well as silica wicking.

You might find a greater satisfaction rebuilding your own coils / wicks to the ohms and wick material of your liking.

Hope I was of help.

For me, more expensive equals better quality. I started with cigalikes, then Ego Twists, then ProVari. As the price went up, the quality did, as well. Cigalikes basically suck, but got me started. Twists are fine, but weren't quite enough for me (I was a heavy smoker). When I got my 1st ProVari that was the game changer for me. No issues whatsoever with it.

I am not saying ProVari is the only choice, but it worked well for me. :)

This question is like someone asking, "will my Casio watch give me the same experience as a Rolex?" The answer is yes and no, both will give you the time and will get the job done. The difference of cost is worth it for me when i factor the look and feel of the product. A Provari, Zen, iHybrid or Caravela feels better in the hand. Also I think that a few high end mods could be considered works of art.

The key for me seems to be more how the device performs. Something catches my eye and off I go to the forums and Youtube. Phil Busardo has been a huge help to me with his Youtube reviews. I've been at this for about 4 months now and have done the starter kit clearo thing. Then it was Kanger T3S and the protank. Like the Kanger stuff but it can be a bit fiddly and that is not what that level of device should be, to me, always remember it is your experience and what workds for you is whats best. Just stepped up to my first genny today and it was like the clouds parted and the birds began to sing. It's a simple little Smoktech RSST that I found for 20 online but with the ekowool and ribbon kanthal I can't see needing a 100 + device to attain this satisfaction. Will I still drop the 150ish to get a Kraken. You better believe I will but that is an aesthetic choice and I do not expect any quality difference to rationally justify the higher price. And you know, that's just fine too. If it pleases you and keeps you vaping rather than using analogs go for it. The only real difference in the genesis style atomizers I mentioned, that matters to me, is that the RSST has a polycarbonate tank. There is talk of a v2 coming out with pyrex and should that come to pass the Kraken will wait until I have a small army of RSSTs lined up on my vape shelf. AS to your trying cartos. They produce better flavor and hit for most people hence their popularity in spite of tanks being arguably more manageable on the go ... hence carto tanks. For me the genny as I have it built atm gives me carto flavor and hit with the ease of use that comes with a tank. I must admit to a small sense of satisfaction form vaping something I built myself as well. So again welcome, don't expect to get bored for a while =)
