I have been using a Russian 91% for some time now. I like it but it just seems more finicky than it should. Mainly the center post loosening the build deck. But some other things as well.

In the mood to try something new. Under 50 bucks please. I've been reading about the subtank and fogger v6 a lot. But want all of your input before pulling the trigger.

Or if I'm dead wrong and the Russian is where it's at, tell me that too. Hoping for some direction from some more experienced people. Thanks so much.

I have a subtank (the BIG one) and I like it a lot. Also like my Lemo and Lemo drops a lot, all under $50. I have a Billow and Orchid V4, but those are both best dual coil and are a little more of a challenge as far as wicking to prevent leaking. Coming from the Russian I would go with the Lemo or Subtank IMO.
Are the Lemo and Lemo drop basically the same in performance? Difference is just the size? Thanks

I like the orchid quite a bit once I figured out how to wick it right. I actually have a lot of different tanks and they mostly all have some good points. But the ones I take with me on the road are my kayfun Lite v2's. They never leak, are easy to build and are very rugged. I like them better all around than my russians. For flavor though, it's a toss-up between my orchid and my big drippers.

Perform about the same for me, vapor on the drop will get hotter with the shorter shaft. I did see Rip Tripper's review and he did say the taste was better in the drop, mine taste about the same, I notice more temp difference than flavor difference.

I'll kick a suggestion in for the Erlkonigin (NOT the Yi Loong version...thing sucks). I have a few RTAs including the Kayfun Lite Plus and nothing compares with my two Erlkonigin clones for taste. The only bad thing is the crappy PMMA tanks so I can't use my Beelzabub's Nectar. But the tanks themselves can be had on Fasttech for a song.

I would say the Lemo over the Lemo Drop for one reason only....bigger tank = more vaping between fills...I have noticed that the Lemos go through juice pretty fast. I have to fill the 5ml tank 2 to 3 times a day...

I run 1.0 - 1.2 ohm spaced bulds wicked with regular cotton using 90/10 VG juice and have never had a dry hit yet...

These are great tanks.

consider the bigdripper rtda
and the flash-evapor which would be an rta, but I guess it's also an rda.

I don't tie my wick from the coil to the tank I just let a separate wick hang down from the tank, that way I can pop the top off anytime to check the wick and can juice it up if necessary.

A decent rta is the goblin or the kayfun v4 - two different beasts- the youde goblin will need different post screws if they haven't changed in latter serial number runs the screw size is in the user manual - I bought
Set or Allen screws since the stocks are pointed and slimmer than the lead holes
It makes it a pita - screw dimension is a m2- .4 thread pitch x 4 mm works great now also it has a steep learning curve and is dual coil- I personally favor the lemo drop for single coil - it's a great tank and gives better flavor than the 5ml lemo
But the kayfun v4 is also very good just a bit long for me - I prefer smaller form factor
