Hey, all! I thought I'd close this thread out, for completeness, with what I've found so far to remedy the sensitivity issues. I now know that I'll have to be careful about unknown ingredients, but I'm fine with that. PG and alcohol both bother me, but the unflavored VG seems to be treating me just fine.

It seems that my cold did exacerbate the effect that the alcohol-based flavor had on me, as it's not as bad when I try it now. I've been vaping quite a bit the last few days, drinking plenty of water, and have been surprised at how quickly my lungs have cleared up, even though I'm still smoking about 60% of my normal 1.2 PAD.

So, I'm quite optimistic now. From my experiences so far, it looks like I can probably do 80-90% VG with 10-20% PG-based flavoring at least some of the time, without trouble. I'll be researching some more on flavors, and looking for PG-based ones. I don't much like the idea of inhaling alcohol vapors, anyway.

I just thought of doing a cold coffee or tea extraction today, while I look for a flavoring source, and looked the idea up here on the forum. Of course, there is a bunch of info there already, which I'm still reading. I think I'll try one tomorrow using VG as the carrier. I rather like this community. :) I know I'll be hanging around.

I know you've closed the thread but I just wanted to say congrats on finding a solution and a HUGE THANK YOU for sharing this info with others that may have this same issue. 10 X Kudos cuz sharing is what ECF is all about.
Happy New Year
