About 3 months ago, I started using an 808 (V2). It has been a good product and I have actually quit normal cigs all together. While the 808 was a nice way to get started on an e-cig, I really don't care for the batteries (it just doesn't last long enough for me). I went ahead and got me a Joye eGo Twist 1000 mAh battery (and a 510/808 adapter so I can finish off my v2 carts). But I'm lost as to what I should get for my twist once I'm ready to start buying my own fluid. I'm looking for something that has at least a 1ml tank and preferably clear so I can see how much fluid I have left. I'm also looking form something I can use to taste test fluids until I can find some I like.

Hi and welcome to ECF. In regards to tanks you prolly would want either a Vivi Nova or a Stardust Clearomizer...Whichever you buy make absolute sure you get the LONG WICK versions. You can also buy the replaceable heads for them quite cheaply. You would want standard resistance clearos to fully experience the VV.

You'd want a 510 atomizer to test juices.
Good Luck.

Welcome to the ECF!

Though I don't have much experience with tank setups (tanks hold several MLs of juice, and come in clear variations so you can see how much juice is in there), others will certainly chime in and give you some advice. With respect to testing liquids however, nothing beats a good drip tip and atomizer combo. You can switch flavours on the fly, with little cross-over in taste. I'm not sure what wattage you were vaping at before, but with the 3.7 volt batteries like the eGo, I prefer a low-resistance atomizer, something in the 1.5-2.0 ohm range. Good luck!

I recommend the bottom coil phoenix from gotvapes. They have two sizes. A 1.5 mL and a 2.5ml. The 2.5 mL is actually designed for an ego so it will fit perfectly on your twist.

If you want something that holds a lot of juice without a lot of problems I second the vote for the Vivi nova 2.0 or 2.5. It performs well and is super easy to clean. The best part is that it is rebuildable so you only have to replace the head which cost about $2-$3

I did the same thing you did. I loved the 808 (mine was a Bloog) but just recently bought a twist. I tried the Phoenix bottom coil cartos (they're clear so does that make them clearomizers?) and love love them. You can also get them with an 808 thread which I may still get to use with the smaller batts. I do go through a lot more juice now though.
