I have tried all types of top coil clearomizers, and they all seam to have great taste, and vapor production, but they all seam to leak. I have tried the bottom coils that don't seam to leak, but the flavor is muted.I am currently using the Vision Ego V3 dual coil clearomizer, it does great for about a week, before it starts leaking. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I almost exclusively use bottom coils, but I'm tempted to try the iClear line since I have heard such GREAT things about it. I have an iClear 30S sitting at home right now that I have not yet tried, it came with my VTR. Once I try it, I can give a better idea of whether or not it's all hype!

Good luck in your search, if you find something that works well, please post it here so we can all know!

P.S. I just saw that you are in Williamsburg, I've heard there are some good B&Ms in the Richmond area, but haven't been able to get down there yet, any thoughts on it?

Aspire tanks have great flavor and great wicking ability. They also don't leak. They don't crack because they are glass.

I would try the Aspire or a good glass carto-tank like the Phiniac or IBtanked. My Phiniac has never leaked in over a year of use. The cartos last 8 - 14 days. And unlike most clearos, they don't mute the taste and they are maintenance free.

you may not like it,,,,,,,,,

it's top coil, so it's much warmer,,,,,,,,,if you're used to bottom coil, you may like the cooler vape better.

Have you tried the iclear16 top coil? If you tilt it upside down, yes, sometimes you can get a little condensate leaking out the top.

But I dont think I had a full blown leaker on any of the iclear 16's I had unless I did something to cause it. ie, deform something. I caused 1 to be a leaker by having it in my back packet when I sat down and deformed the base. Another one I put into some really hot water and then I noticed afterwards it wasnt sitting straight. When I looked closer, the bottom metal band on the plastic piece was crooked. It wasnt like that previously, so I surmised that the hot water bath had expanded the metal allowing it to slip a little on the plastic. I gave it another hot water bath and 'gently' banged it back into place. It didnt leak after that.

But I have mostly moved onto carto tanks, and they really dont leak(if you have a quality one). I too found the flavor from bottom coil tanks way too muted for me, and only liked top coil clearos until I found carto tanks. Good luck!

Mango is a tank cracker. See list here: List of e-juices known to crack polycarbonate tanks: FastTech Forums

Look for a glass/pyrex tank. I don't think they make a top coil one, though. :( Yet! Or you can switch to cartos.

I prefer my Mini Protank 2 for tank crackers and I have a regular Protank but it's very airy. My EVODs, though not glass, held up very well to my cinnamon concoctions but they are discolored now. My iClear 16 lasted a little over 2 months before it had a meltdown and it was actually the drip tip that melted but it had severe clouding of the tank so I tossed it.

i've been using Vision V3 2.0 from myvaporstore and none (about 8) have leaked in over 6 months. i got some from another vendor and one of the tanks cracked and snapped off at the base.

I've also noticed quality issues with replacement heads. some die or short out with a short dry burn. other just keep on ticking, dry burning after every few tanks. they are not glass but i have not seen any frosted tanks from this model. i have seen the black plastic tips turn white in apple and some citrus juices, but these tanks are pretty impervious.

I do not like the dual heads they have gone to. i feel like it i cant dry burn them well or maybe its my imagination

also, make sure the heads are tight on the post, and the bottom post contact can be adjusted with a paperclip or med screwdriver

I agree with Jayvaps. My favorite is the I16. I've bought three of these (more on the way) but two of the three developed a leak along the bottom. Sometimes liquid just pours out ! I think this can happen if you drop one the wrong way or twist the top back and forth.

I've tried super-gluing that joint, but it still pulls loose. I'm trying to glue plastic to metal, which isn't easy.
Maybe someone can suggest a glue that would work.

I think this is a big disadvantage to the I16 and wonder why they can't design something that doesn't do this.

However, they DO seem to last a few months, and I've never had a heating element burn out, So I have several extra heating elements !
