Hi all,

I'm currently using a 510 Titan and an iClear clearomizer (CE3) looking to upgrade to a bigger/better battery and better clearomizer. I like the size of the Ego-C Slim and was wondering if this will take a 510 clearo?

With regards to clearos I want something that is single coil, and doesn't have any regular leaking or wicking issues. I also don't want it a lot bigger than the battery.

I'd love to see your setups and hear your opinions.

From what I know about eGo batteries, nearly all of them (unless they are intentionally made proprietary by a vendor) have both an outer eGo thread and an inner 510 thread in one battery connector. Therefore, a 510 clearomizer should fit the eGo-C slim.

There's several options you can try for a clearomizer. Two would be the Vision Mini Vivi Nova and Kanger Evod.

The Vivi Nova's are top-fill, top-coil/top wicked (requires tipping the device occassionally to keep the wicks wet). The Evod is bottom fill, bottom-coil/bottom wicked; gravity fed so isn't position dependent. Both have replaceable heads that can be purchased separately.

One shouldn't have issues with leaking or wicking if using genuine name-brand products, unless user error is involved.

You will have to replace the wicks once they get all gunked up, the time between wick replacements can be prolonged by cleaning them with water and/or alcohol. The wick/coils are cheap for both units and can be changed very fast.

Edit: Looks like you deleted that question right before I posted the reply above :) for anyone elses reference, he was asking about whether or not you have to constantly mess with the wicks

Thanks all. The Protank2 and Mini Viva look very nice. are they a lot bigger than an Ego battery?

You may wish to use an eGo cone cover (beauty ring) to hide the connections between the juice attachment and the battery.
