Whats going on guys. Been searching the forum for tips on a first build and watching countless youtube videos on rebuilding. I have been using the atlantis since it first came out and i have fell in love with sub ohming. More of a flavor chaser but i certainly don't mind the clouds. The atlantis to me has great flavor but i keep hearing that it lacks flavor from my friends that use rda's.. so its making me wonder. I have a cheap mech mod but i mostly use my cana dna 30. I am looking for a good tank system that i can drip on but also has a tank. I like the idea that i can drip a juice that i like on occasions but also keep a couple mls of my daily vape in the tank. I know a lot of you are going to recommend what will be the easiest FIRST build but i do pick things up quickly and have a god idea of what I'm getting into.

Also open to input on if i should go the route of buying a dripper and an rta. i kind of like the idea of it being 2 in one but I really want to hear all of your feedback.

Iv taken a look at the genesis, the lemo, the kayfun, and the Big Dripper... Mostly impressed by the big dripper. Help me I'm indecisive!!!!!

If you really want a two-in-one look at the Aqua (by Fontoon I think?). I can't speak as to how building it is, but it does have that specific feature. I do know the Big Dripper isn't the easiest to build on due to its restrictive deck and it leaks juice, sometimes freely., but it is a nifty device that produces pretty good flavor. I can't speak to the others you're looking at as I haven't tried them but from what I hear you can't go wrong with either, but I'm willing to bet you'll get more votes for a Lemo.

I realize i called it a RBTA..... thanks for not commenting on how much of a noob i am to the rebuilding world. Looked into the reo and i don't want to go the bottom feeder route. I am still stuck deciding if i should get a clone RDA and RTA or get a 2 in 1. Reasoning behind getting a 2 in 1 i can build less coils at first and determine if i like dripping or not.

If the Aqua's dripper is just so-so I think more mileage is to be had from getting good clones of both types to really get the full experience of each. I enjoy aspects of both but when I want a rip I reach for the dripper. And I know I would just end up using a two-in-one in whichever mode it performed better in. That was one aspect I did like about the Big Dripper was that on the fly it served well as a dripper to try new flavors on. I'm looking forward to a v2 to see how they improve upon their concept.

Most 2 in 1s I've tried tend to fall victim to the "jack of all trades, master of none" thing. A good tank is built for one purpose and a good dripper for another. That said, I've found that my Lemo Drop is a good tank that I can drip with occasionally because the chimney and drip tip opening are so large - you can actually see your coil when you pull off the drip tip, so you can drip right onto it. Of course, if the tank's not empty, you're going to get some wierd flavor mixing, but if I can't decide which juice to put in when it's empty, I'll drip a few for a while to figure out what I'm in the mood for.

If you decide to go the separate atties route, I'm still going to recommend the Lemo or Lemo Drop as the best tank you can get right now. This thing's banished all my Kayfuns to the "old vape stuff that doesn't really get used anymore" shoebox (and I've given a couple away). It's good for a first time builder because it's got a large build deck with your choice of trapping the wires with the screw or using post holes, so it's an easy build, and it's a reliable, leak free (when built right) tank. I'm not a dripping expert, but the Magma and the Plume Veil seem to be the most recommended right now for flavor guys. I'm about to get a Plume Veil myself. Give it two weeks and there will be a new one everyone's excited about - new drippers come out all the time, and older ones seem to come in and out of style. You kind of have to decide when you want it, buy the best thing available, and be happy with your purchase knowing something else will come out any minute now.

Appreciate all the help guys! I really agree and came to realize that all 2 in 1s had some sort of huge downside. I figured i would just give dripping a shot and picked up a doge v2 and built a .3 on it... Its safe to say that i really like dripping. It is not convenient at all and its not what i have been carrying around, still using the atlantis on the go. The dripper though does deliver massive clouds. After buying the doge however i found i lacked flavor that i have been chasing and decided to go the magma clone route, i ordered one that suckmymod reviewed as an exact 1;1 clone. So now i have 2 drippers....... Which is completely different from the route i was planning to go in the beginning of this thread. If i decide to go the tank route im pretty sure im gonna go lemo.

DO NOT...I repeat, DO NOT get the Fogger as your first-time RBA/RTA as I did. Talk about frustration...ugh! If you're going the RTA route, I found the Erlkonigin to be a great build with amazing flavor. I like the Squape as well though not as flavorful as the Erl but pretty easy to work with. The Fogger is great but you should definitely get better at coiling and wicking before you try that thing.
