Hello ECF family. I'm looking for a pretty specific type of airflow control. I'm liking the look and options of the atomic and trident v2, but would prefer if the different hole sizes were on the outside of the AFC ring.
I like how the trident v1 has the two holes you line up with your coils then you rotate the top cap to adjust size, but it didn't work as smoothly as many would like. The v2 has a sweet idea, but I don't really like how the different size air holes are on the inner ring, then you turn the outer ring to line up the openings... Is any of this making sense?
I just want to have two air holes that I line up with the coils, then an outer ring I can turn to open or restrict air flow.
Anyone still following what I'm asking for? Does such a thing even exist.
Thanks for reading if you've made it this far through my rambling :)

cyclone w/ AFC is your best bet. Wish I had never sold mine. May be time to get a new one.

I can't, for the life of me, get any love from the AFC as compared to the regular Cyclone and IGO-S. I'm getting tons of flavorful moist vapor from the regular Cyclone and Igo-s but the AFC Cyclone is producing less vapor and it is an "arid" vapor and not as flavorful.

I've tried it in dual mode with combined .5Ω and in single mode with .6-.8Ω coils 30ga Nichrome and doesn't satisfy (compared to the other two I mentioned). What are you guys doing to get the AFC to be killer?

Don't get me wrong, if I had never known the joy of the the reg. Cyclone and IGO-S (and even RM2) I would probably think the AFC was great....but

On a side note, today, I cut a channel into the positive post insulator of the AFC for bottom feed modification. So it is ready for squonking.

On another a side note, I've been seeing "IGO-S"2". Anyone know what the "2" is all about. Can't seem to find anything that differentiates it from the IGO-S.

ADDIT: Sorry, Tasty! Didn't mean to highjack your thread. I thought I was in a different subforum. Tooooo much port tonight. :p

I have been eyeballing the cyclone AFC for after the holidays when I get an unmilled reo grand, but right now I'm looking for something in the 19-22mm range to play with on my magneto and/or nemesis clone. Preferably a 3 post for ease of running dual coils.
Yea, probably doesn't exist yet (trident v3 maybe?), but maybe Santa will read this and get the elves crackin in the workshop...

I'm hip to yo' jive! The Cyclone AFC has the inner ring adjustment.

ADDIT: So it is difficult to adjust to holes to the coils on opposite sides.
