I recently purchased a Hades clone and love heft, fit and finish. Not to mention I can vape all day on one battery. This is more of an at-home-sitting-around mod rather than out-and-about due to it being so heavy.

Anyway, I'm looking to add another, but can't seem to find anything that speaks to me. I figured I would ask here and see if anyone has any recommendations.

I picked up a Timber by Element Mods last week, along with the Elm XL atty that works as a hybrid, and I'm in love! The build quality is very good, and it hits like a champ.

I really like that it has the air slits instead of the typical small holes that you'd probably want to drill out, but I think the best feature is the removable top cap. You can drip without removing the whole top and I really like that. Not to mention the added battery life with the 26650 battery, and as some other posters mentioned, there's not as much voltage drop since it connects directly to the battery.

Oh, and I really like the fact everything is made right here in the USA in So. Cal. I'm a fan for sure, and I think I'll be picking up the Ember as well so I can mix and match the pieces (stainless steel and brass look pretty good together).

They sell them at VapeRev, and I've hyperlinked directly to their site for the mod and atty in case you want to take a gander. Their site says they're out of the Timber, but they had a few of them in stock when I went it. I think they just haven't updated their site.

Here are a couple pics of mine:

I finally pulled the trigger and went with a Hades clone and a Stingray X, the big one. The Hades is amazing. Great threading and the brushed steel feels so good in my hand. The button is huge and connects from just about any press. I installed magnets in it and it can be set down w/o locking.

The Stingray X is a BEAST!! The weight alone makes it impractical to carry around, but for home use it's ok. The copper cut outs look amazing. The threading is a bit tricky and you need to be careful as it's copper and soft. The button has magnets installed already and it'll stand w/o locking, but, and this is a big but, the tubing is just a tad too long for MNKE flat top batteries. I find I have to wind the top screw out to just about the last thread to get a connection. This also makes the switch wobbly when setting it down. I've seen a fix with an insulated magnet on the bottom of the battery and am going to try that to see about getting a closer fit.

Both mods hit great and the MNKE batteries last forever.
