26650 mods

I'm currently looking to purchase a 26650 mod and I was wondering what all is out there. The only two I know of is the hades and the Akuma. Is there anything else that anyone would recommend or does anyone have experience with the hades or Akuma. Also I'm wondering what the differences are between an 18650 mod.

I know a couple people that really enjoy the hades. I believe that a 26650 should output the same power as an 18650 and the 26650 lasts a lot longer. The 26650 mods are pretty big. I couldn't see myself lugging around something that size all day.

I would compare the 26650 mods to the maglites of the flashlight industry in terms of size.

Copper Hades will hit hard. Have two. Got one on fasttech one more expensive one from another site and they both are great. I would NOT get the Stingray 26650 heard about problems with the switches.

Not one of the two you mentioned, but i recently got back into tinkering around and picked up an ehpro sledgehammer. i picked that one up because it had a recessed button that didnt need locking ring and came with a handy sleeve so i could run with 18650 batteries untill i picked up the 26650s. Not a bad mod for price. Its shorter then my silverbullet that i have been carrying around for years, just a bit thicker and heavier though.

I've got a Tobeco Hades and a Smokey Mountain Zrex Vanilla. The Hades paired with a Tobeco Cerberus atty really rocks in hybrid mode. I've got a Tobeco 26650 Tobh currently on the Vanilla and it's a beast too. For a ton of flavor, I'll slap my 26650 Kayfun Lite Plsu on either one. That thing will almost compete with the drippers for vapor. If money is no object, I would suggest the Vanilla, but if you're running tight for cash, check out the Tobeco HAdes. I got the V3, all brass and it comes with magnets for the switch. They are kinda tough to get the old spring out and the magnets in, but makes for as easier fire button. JMHO, love the feel of them and the battery life is great!!

I have two mechanicals, Hades and Helmsman and two regulated the e-huge and the Beast box.

I, by far prefer the regulated e-huge and the Beast box, ( which uses two 26500).

With those I use the xl Ibtanked 8ml , Aerotank Giant 4.5ml and a Kayfun clone from Svoemesto 20ml .

I also find them too big to carry around when out and about but use the two regulated 26xxx series almost exclusivly when in house.
