So has anyone heard of the P-Dib? Todd talked about it in one of his vids, said he found out about it on ECF. It's a box mod squonker similar to the reo. How does it compare to the reo?

Last I heard the wait for them was over a year. Are you set on a wood mod? IMO you can't go wrong joining Reoville. But I do understand the difficulty in obtaining a woodville (if that's what you're set on). Best of luck! And hopefully someone can chime in that's used both.

Both are great BF mods, Pdib's mod the Sumpin does have a waiting list that goes out over a year. Most owners of Pdib's mod also run Reos. Search for Sumpin and get on the list. but do not wait, get some Reos now, you'll love them.

Notice I expect you to own more than one

Thanks again everybody, you've all been extremely helpful and have answered all the questions I have for now.
Next step is rounding up enough fundage and choosing an atty. I'll post pics if and when the equipment is in hand, and I'm sure I'll have a lot more questions. Thanks again all :D

for a 1st attie, I'd echo the reomizer 2 calls. Admittedly I prefer the rm4 now, but as a starting point rm2 is a great choice

If by chance you like deep lung inhales and dual coils, maybe not so much, but generally the vast majority are happy with their rm2's

Currently I run 1.8 ohm BVCs in both the Nautilus and Nautilus Mini. I run these on both my ProVari 18650, and my ProVari Mini at 5.0-5.5 volts. I'm impressed with the vapor, the clouds aren't huge, but respectable, and can fog up a room. Flavor is ok.
Basically the reason I shared that is to say that I'm open to experimentation. I'm not looking to replace my ProVari, but something for hobby builds, so I can learn how the mod goes together, how builds work, and possibly create my own mods in the future. I've already been thinking of ways to possibly mod a REO to use a side firing, rather than top firing button.
So my question now is, knowing that information, that I already have a setup I'm happy with, and that I'm looking to play around, would you all still recommend an RM2 or should I get a little crazy and try an RM3, since I'm a complete beginner at oil building?
How well does the dual coil rm3 run with a single coil? I'd like to have the option of dual coils, without stepping into an atty that doesn't work as well with singles.

:EDIT:
I find I like to mouth-to-lung hit the Nautilus tanks with the widest airhole, the others are just a bit too tight for me. How does the airhole on the RM2 compare to the largest airhole on the Nauti tanks?

In that ohm range stick with the smaller air chamber RBAs to start. RM2, RM3, Divo, Cyclone without AFC. Most RBA ship with smaller air holes because you can always make it bigger but it's not easy to make it smaller. The RM2 is the easiest make larger.

My only question would be are you experienced in Rebuildable Atomizers (RBA's) ?
You mentioned that flavor is not your concern, that you prefer large clouds of warm vapor. For this reason I might suggest an LP Grand and an RM4/ RM5/ RM6. My 'standard' setup is a Reos with an RM2, and it provides a cool, flavorful vape for Mouth to Lung (MTL) vapers like me. I recently purchased an LP/SP Grand and RM5, and it is a different animal. The Dual Coil / Adjustable Air Flow Reomizers are for lung hitters who want large clouds, and it does deliver a warmer vape than the RM2.
Papa's answers in the second post on this thread were excellent, and a lot better information than I could ever give. I just thought I'd share my experiences of the difference between the RM2 and the RM5. If you want warmer vape, and a lot of it, the RM5 might be better for you.

I totally agree, he did mention he wants more vapor and less flavor. Do yourself a favor and get a LP grand along with the RM5, you won't regret it. The RM5 will still have good flavor, but you can open the air flow all the way up and chunk huge clouds. If you want a warm vape, build a single double parallel 4 wrap coil using 24 gauge kanthal. Get 100% VG juice to add to the density, or if you aren't feeling the RM5, the Odin is a great choice. The RM2 is a good starting point for people who are flavor junkies and MTL hitters. You sound like your a lung hitter wanting more vapor, and if you choose a RM5 or the new RM6 or even the Odin, you won't be disappointed.

Here's mine and my wife's metallic red, both with RM5's.

So I almost pulled the trigger on a brass engraved grand and brass rm2 combo last night, but Rob is out of stock on the brass rm2s already :(. They were in stock as of last saturday. I waited because I'm in Texas and wanted to time the arrival of my REO with being back home in Colorado next week, in case I had to sign for it...looks like I'm going to be waiting even longer.

I'm actually an mtl hitter most of the time that wants more vapor lol. I think I may go with the RM2 to see what the buzz is all about. I may actually like flavor a lot more out of the rba rather than with the clearos I've been using. I've tried other people's rbas and did like how the flavors seemed to taste more pure that way.
