Looking for help with first mech/rebuilding

So I've been vaping on an mvp2 for about 5 months now, and recently I've decided that I just want bigger clouds, and I really want to get into rebuilding. I've been watching a lot of riptrippers, rubyroo, grim green, etc on youtube and looking around online, but I'm pretty indecisive about what to get. My budget is about $150 for a mod, at least 2 rdas, kanthal, cotton, ohm reader, and hopefully some juice. So what I'd like to hear from you experts is: a) what are my best options for a mod? I'd like to go for a clone just because I don't have the money for a really high quality mod. I've been looking into various nemesis clones and dna 30 clones. b) Can I trust fast tech to buy some RDAs? c) An all around website where I can find everything, or almost everything that I need. Thanks guys and vape on!:vapor:

www dot texasselectvapor dot com is a good site (just take out the spaces). Another thing you may want to add to your list is a pair of heat resistance tweezers (ceramic ends) and either some wrapping rods or a wrapping jig to help with making the coils. I am just starting myself and that is what I had found so far. www dot guidetovaping dot com has a really nice list with links to purchase the items as well. (again just take out the spaces and replace the word dot with a (.).

Hope this helps! :D

A) I own several mechanical mods, vv/vw mods. my personal favortie is the mvp2 for my drippers. I often tend to forget to lock mechs when setting down due to getting busy at work. With the mvp2 you can still build sub ohm coils that will fire as long as you are at .8 or higher. Its what i recommended to do to all my buddies looking to get into rebuilding. If im not busy at work I like to use either my k100(very solid very affordable), nemesis with magnet upgrades ( the stock spring sucks) or a stingray. The stingray is nice but it will fire when set down unless locked, so i seldomly use that one.

B) rda's on fast tech have been a gamble for me. I own 3 tridents one original which i keep at home. One that I got from madvapes(my work horse that goes everywhere, and the last was a fast tech one that the holes wont line up correctly so I keep it for spare parts.

C) finding a all around website to buy everything is not easy. some sites have better prices on devices, some have better rda prices, then you have the ability to trust a vendor is supplying good quality batteries and chargers. I tend to browse okcvapes, madvapes, sun-vapers all which I have had good results from.

Lastly factor in prices of good batteries if your gonna be going mechanical, and make sure they are up to par with what your build goals will be. I run sony vtc4/5, orbtronics and efest 30 amp purples. Also a charger is just as important most wont trust the cheaper no name brands or trustfire ones.

150 is a good starting point for a nice clone set up.

I went done the cloned mod route and authentic atty as got a few crap ones on fast tech. Stingray x is a great clone and there is no fiddling for battery rattle. Fast tech its cheap at 26 dollars or something. Its very good.

For attys my two faves are the erlkonigin which is pricey at around 130 dollars but has been really worth it for me. The other is a sophia by leo which is superb. If you just want to test the waters I would get the orchid from fast tech which has had good reviews and is cheap. Magma has been a good dripper but is more for flavor. Also the ohm checker from Ft ( new one) is really good. And if you want to be very safe also get the FT cheap multimeter that costs around 15 dollars. I have that and it has been real good so far......Also the nitcore intellicharger they sell has been my best charger to date. Recommended.

That was a very Incoherent reply but basically Fast tech is pretty good for lots of things. Check the reviews and you should be okay. If you have the money an authentic usually is better. The squape reloaded has just come out on ft which could be very hit or miss, Keep an eye out for it.

I'm waiting on vapemail from vape royalty. They have great prices on clones with solid reviews. I got a nemesis clone, with the magnet upgrade for i think 45 ish, I ordered a kfun also - but thats not exactly a dripper - as I work 12 hour shifts and need a tank. I did order a tobh clone from fasttech, because lets face it. 10 bucks is disposable cash if it turns out to suck. If I enjoy it, I plan to go the route of an authentic 454, as they are fantastic and cheap - as these things go - around 80 bucks. But my primary goals for dripping only revolve around testing diy flavors.
