Have a bunch of the Aegis 26650's and squonkers. They are hardy and perform well as power reg mods. I do have a predilection though for VV and the Vandy 18650/20700 squonkers will do this fabulously while being amazingly rugged. I like rugged. These coupled with any quality RTA/rda single-coil device will provide a durable hi-cap low watt solution for just about anyone. Plus 30-seconds to paradise with a repeatable consistent strained element dialed to your sweet spot. Voila. Months of use with min care using RxW (ceramic wicking).

Good luck. :)

30-seconds to paradise
Nice. Of course, you may have meant the band but if not...

30 tickets to paradise....
Cody Kaufman slept at 56 different locations, rode the bus 11,492 miles, and spent just $2,563 during his 2012 road trip to every ballpark in Major League Baseball. (nice, and props)

I have several Aegis Solo's and yep, rugged as you know what. The Aegis line is awesome.

Also have a couple VV Pulse mech squonkers (18650/20700) and yes, rugged. I can't count the times I've dropped mine and they just work. My dog has even sent one flying off the LR table and it's perfectly fine.

Also, pretty sure they made a battery cap for the Aegis 26650's so they can take a 21700. Don't know if you still can get them. :D

Yep, a shame they didn't put more caps/alternatives out there for the 26xxx and squonk. With my rotation and variation I run into a trap if say I'm stuck for a few days using a lot of any one batt spec. Then you're cycling them too quickly. It avg's out, I guess. It'd be helpful tho. Those two mods would be my fav's of all time if they were more versatile. They're a fixture for me in the 22-42W performance range.

Good luck. :)

Battery explosions are still a thing? I thought that vapes were as safe as laptops?
One thing people seem to forget is the batteries we use are NOT manufactured for vaping. There is always a risk. I'd much rather have my vape in hand so if something goes wrong, I can toss it rather quickly. Try dragging a burning battery out of you front pocket quickly. Bet ya cant do it. Hope ya don't ever have to.

Yeah some of those sales at the end of the year last year were amazing...

Almost 100% of the ridiculously low priced vape supplies I bought during those sales from 11/2019 to 2/2020 didn't have that silly "tobacco" warning on the packages. I think that was the biggest motivation of US sellers dumping stuff for ridiculous prices.

I currently have a vape mod that doesnt last all day and a vape tank that leaks and occasionally opens in my pocket.

That's not good.

Any Aegis mod (I use the Solos, single 18650 battery mod, but they make more powerful--longer lasting mods as suggested above by others) and a 4 ml Zlide (or Zenith Pro, closer to 5 ml capacity) with 1.2 or .8Ω coils. No leaks, no fuss, just works.

Good luckl

@Katya, wish I'd picked up a couple of Jackaroo mods. They're even more hardy than any Aegis.

Perhaps, but a touch too industrial looking for my taste. :D

I'm sticking with my Solos. Just ordered three more and I'm pretty sure they'll outlive me.

@Katya, for industrial look no further than the SL class in Carbon Fibre. But they are nice for TC though.

I must admit they're one of my most favorite mods though, and they're reasonably hardy. PC software is a nightmare to use though, as trying to install the driver is so annoying.

I've heard that the SOLO chipset isn't too shabby at all @Katya, but it seems as though Vaporesso has been having a lot of issues with it's more recent mods such as the GEN for example.

Solo is not Vaporesso. Or am I misreading your post?

Well there has been lots of reports of TC issues with the newest chipset and dodgy 510 connectors on the GEN @Katya, so I don't know exactly what has happened with them as they can produce good mods.

Also, the GT Core CCell coils that I like using have seemed to drastically decline in quality. Their wicking ability is so bad now, I'd say that you're lucky to get 1 to last a week.

But I loved the Switcher, as it was my first mod that truly served me well. It's still going now, just relegated to one side in case of emergencies.

Just didn't like that in TC mode you couldn't go lower than 30 Watts and no firmware was bought out to address it.

Thanks for the info.

I wouldn't like it either. I always set my watts at 25 in TC, temperature at 370° or so and take it from there.
