Looking for High Drain AW IMR 18650 battery vendor.

The title says it all....but i'll type more anyway.

I'm looking for batteries for a Lavatube...Volcano is out, and so is a half dozen other vendors i've found on the internet, some not even conneted to vaping. I'd be grateful for any vendor sites you could throw my way.

Also, I swear that i remember some review or something i read saying that lavatube needed flattop batteries, can anyone confirm/deny that?

You are correct. There has been a lot of discussion about which 18650s will and will not fit the LavaTube. I suggest reading the last several pages of this thread...

If you really do want AW IMRs, Penny has some but you'd better hurry. Seems many vendors are out of stock right now.

The Lavatube has built in protection ckts, so the bat issue is getting blown out of proportion.
The AW IMR is not a flat top and fits fine. A protected bat that is not a flat top will be a bit of a problem.

I bought a half dozen 2400 mah flat top protected li-ion when i found that volcano was out, then had a sudden anxiety attack when i couldn't find the review that said to get he flat top batteries. Thanks for confirming for me, and thanks for the links
